I had to laugh when you opened the compartment next to the steering wheel on the Cobalt. All that water wtf. Silicone sealed windshield... omg..😂. Have a great day Randy enjoy your vacation 👋🏼
Randy was getting soaked for our viewing pleasure. Truly a man dedicated to his craft. As my grandfather once said "If you love your job, you'll never work another day in your life". Thank you Randy, for being one of my favorite UA-camrs!
The Charger is pretty awesome would be pretty sweet if you could get it. Especially when you have a V8 plus AWD and the pursuit rated tires. Not a bad old police car. Wish that GTO could be saved but there is a lot of stuff that needs to be fixed.
Randy, the only way that gto/Monaro has done 39k is if it's quarter mile at a time! Built here in Australia by Holden, they are a great car with the 5.7 ls1. Cheers old son
When you opened that little drawer on that Cavalier and got a water bath, I lost it. I bursted out laughing. That little Chevy yes is a great car. Hope you get it. May be a nice flip.
Honestly those Cobalts are pretty damn reliable cars. I used to have a 2005 Chevy Cavalier which has the exact same motor and transmission and that car got all the way to 230,000 miles with not a single major issue, loved that thing.
@@sterlingstauffer2915 He'd mentioned last week that he hsd several walk-arounds already filmed but never uploaded, and he planned to upload one per day at least for this week. If so, there should be another one for at least tomorrow and possibly beyond that.
Driver side sunroof drain is unhooked or clogged 💯 that’s why the compartment was full of water it’s coming down the headliner to the A. Pillar and behind the dash onto the rug . Very easy and common problem
the earth dreams is a newer engine design by honda. they started out the earth dreams in a 2013 honda accord then eventually spread it out throughout their lineup.
Randy with all that water getting in side the car , how is the electrical wiring? Loaded full of corrosion? What will a complete wire harness cost? Get the leak fixed, pull out the seats and carpeting, padding, run a dehumidifier in side for a few days . Oh the drop down tray filled with water, it's a live well for minnows. Great video , enjoy your trip . Stay Safe Stay Well Dale Nickel
Hey Randy I love your channel so much just as Goonzquad man , love the content , keep it up and so I'd love to see you buy the charger police car because just as you mentioned its the same goonzquad charger that would bring awesome content especially with putting some mods( for eg. a procharger supercharger) that will make it sound mean and drive fast and you would personally love it as well. you could use it as a family car as well.
That gto might have 39k miles but also with those cars the miles are stored on the cluster. So if you were to swap out the cluster you'd get whatever mileage was on the cluster you put into it.
🤣🤣🤣the Cobalt pee'd on you, lol!!! Randy, I am willing to bet the water is coming from the sun roof. I have a 2010 Equinox that had the same problem, and I found that the 3 drain tubes were clogged. Using a Weed Wacker string, and with the roof fully opened, and using a bottle of water 💧 I snaked them out. Be careful, it is easy to knock off the drain hoses!!! Sometimes They disconnect themselves without any help, lol
Dude, you should get that charger, that's a rare find man, they don't make v8 awd chargers from the factory, only v6's, may explain the no engine cover.
we drive the hell out of the 2011 honda fit at our job, car has 435k and still burns no oil in between oil changes, my company just bought 2 more both 2014 models
We have a blue cobalt 2lt. Honestly it is such a trooper. Ours has the pioneer sound system, sun roof, auto lights and its a 5spd manual. Luckily it doesn't leak....yet. lol
Earth Dreams is Honda's name for the engine system that is supposed to be super fuel efficient. Also, that generation GTO was made in Austrailia (Holden Commodore).
Those vw tuaregs are very capable off roaders especially wth the air suspension and 3 locking diffs. The guys on tflcar have one they have taken it on some steep off road trails
Randy! Didn't you notice that the looming was gone from that large wire harness running around the top of the engine of that white Cobalt? I don't think we're supposed to see all of those individual wires like that. If the individual wires haven't been nibbled by varmints, that probably means that someone was in there trying to find a broken circuit or was otherwise troubleshooting something. That might explain those relays or whatever that you found inside the car... Perhaps all of that water getting in there reached a connector and caused some corrosion, or something like that.
So, the VW Touareg probably has enlonged timing chain(s). Also the stalling might be related to one of the fuel pumps. The Display is probably not working because either a faulty (maybe flooded) comfort control module or the can gateway. Also my Passat from the same time had a disabled the MFD (screen in gauge cluster) because of a discharged battery. After i´ve installed a new battery, the screen came back to life.
If only you guys knew how sort after the Monaro is in Oz now you would probably treat them with the respect they deserve. They don't make them anymore. 🥺🇦🇺🦘 in another 10 years they will be ever more wanted
The way to find out if the GTO has 38k miles is a VIN search and the Autel Sys Elite. Check to miles on all of the computers. It's actually easier to change the odometer now than it was 30 years ago.
I think that vw had a breathalyzer in it, you hear 4 beeps and the fuel gets cut, there was a hole drilled near the key slot with a wire running down, most likely that was the tester
It'd be a good buy they really don't go that high at auctions. Either parting it out or just fixing a few things and he should profit. I'd assume it'll only go for around 4-5k
Had an 08 Cobalt just like the last car on the list that I got rid of earlier this year, same spec just a different color. Had it since 09 and 150k miles, was a good car. The transmission decided to stop going into OD when it was cold towards the end of ownership tho lol.
Hey Randy I work at a new car store and and a used car accident manager and the Volkswagen SUVs are ok but like a lot of European car and SUVs you don't want to have to fix any electrical problems, very expensive. But I know some of my customers in the past told me that there like the Porsche SUV but I personally don't agree at all.
The GTO probably had the dash replaced. The crystals die on the odometer. I had one go out on a work car (2004 Berlina) with 180,000 k's. Same dash as as the Commodore.
When you opened the storage compartment on the Cobalt, I admit, I jumped at first........ Then laughed. You should have known with a clogged water drain on the driver's side, the water had to go somewhere...... But that was entertaining
Get the police charger. It'd be nice to see what you can do with a much newer model. That Hemis got a lot of life left in it, but it sounds like it has a broken exhaust manifold bolt
I know how you felt out in the rain. Been dealing with that here in Florida trying to deliver auto parts alot recently.Do most of the Honda civic im seeing in the lot going too high on price?

That much water everywhere is screaming... LMAO! You need a break again my friend. Come visit me in Florida. We are next door to all the parks. Lol
Depends. A vehicle no one wants, 12 years old and many people would not realize the leak is so easily fixed. Even with today's prices it could go dirt cheap. My main concern would be how long the driver's floor was getting that wet, could be some serious rot going on under that carpet.
Randy that police charger is very unique. Because you can't get awd with the V8 from the factory. That was custom ordered for the police.
It is not special order. V8+AWD is one of the police car choice
@@zitengwang136 Oh okay thank you for the information.
@@Funnyperson251 yeah. It's cops car only option. You cannot get civilian version.
@@zitengwang136 I feel like it would sell great having awd as an option with the V8 for the public.
Ziteng Wang Really? Because from 2007-2014 dodge offered the dodge charger V8 R/T AWD as an option.
the VW has two fuel pumps, one of them is bad. that's why it starts but won't stay running. a friend of mine had that issue.
My mom had a early v8 one and 1 of the fuel pumps went bad so I completely would believe that it could be the problem.

The “Tom Tom wireless charger “ was a juul charger lmao
Tyler Lewis Tom Tom aka juul charger
