Interesting video. I went from a 2018 Road King to the FXLRST mainly because I wanted the Softail frame. I just did not like the weight and unwieldy handling of the touring frame. As you say, I can throw around the ST almost effortlessly; the bike is very responsive and nimble. The fairing does an excellent job on the freeway. Had to adjust the rear brake pedal; the way Harley shipped it made it quite literally impossible to use. Very pleased with the FXLRST.
I went to trade my bikes in for the FXLRST and unfortunately I owe too much on both. I’m thinking of the 2023 in Black or Fast Johnny. My dealer has both.
Have you had a chance to checkout the new 2024 Road / Street Glides? Any urge to get back onto a bagger or is the Low Rider ST doing everything you thought it would do for you? I have a 2022 Low Rider ST and am so torn. Got a great deal on a 2024 Road Glide Blue Burst w/ blacked out motor / pipe and its tempting me.
I sold my 2017 Softail Deluxe for a 2023 Low Rider S (white sand pearl) and can't believe the vast improvements of the FXLRS. Wanted the ST but couldn't justify the $4k price jump when I don't care for hard bags at all and prefer the gauge on the S over the ST gauge. The mid-controls are fantastic (I'm 5'11") and I put on 8" Bung King risers so I wasn't hunched over. Feels GREAT on long rides and zipping around town. The best bike I've ever had. Worth every penny! Anyway, LOVE your video. And your mic sounds great, by the way.
I really like what you get brand new on a LRS for 20K....Inverted forks...Dual Disc...117M8...and the new softail monoshock....Yes i would need to add leatherpro bags...Foward Controls(yes iam an Old School EazyRider postured rider)...and Memphis Shields Fairing....My only ? is how that 110 front tire comfort level on a 500mile touring day verus a 130 front tire that iam use to?
Loved the review. God bless America.
I bought my first Harley ever. In 22’ the FXLRST and I can get off the thing. It’s such a sweet bike.

In Aug 22 I traded in my 22 ultra limited for lowrider st..I completely agree with you
I’m actually in the market here in 2024 to get a used Low Rider ST. I enjoy reading what others say about this bike.
Bro! That lowrider st is pretty much my dream bike, a little out of my price range tho, lol. Great vid.
Thanks man
I should have got that instead of the sportglide. I put the memphis fairing on and its ok.

Advanblack sells the st front fairing and everything needed to make it look like the st
How tall are you ? I noticed you still have the stock windscreen. Would you go taller?
5'9" have some friends that are taller then me and ride the same bike they purchased the flared Klock Werks and said they cant even tell a difference
I don’t get any of that buffering on my street glide and it’s a easy bike to ride so I don’t know what your talking about
I mean they are known for buffeting hence why they make the vampire teeth attachments
