    Man I wish the world had gotten to see this talent. I am a VT fan (all 3 of my kids went to VT) and a life long NY Giants fan. Wilson was awesome. Talk about fast. At a VT practice the other players saw a rabbit come out on the field and kidded david to go catch it. he ran it down and caught it. Speed and cutting ability would have been Barry Sanders like i believe if he could have kept going. Always remember you David. Best of luck.

    Man what a talent. Sad we never got a chance to see what he would have done. I’m glad we have Saquon but this dude would have been special as well

    As with everybody else I had high hopes for that kid, but just remember Bradshaw had a pretty goddam good career himself. Especially for a 7th round pick out of Marshall. Wilson's electric speed was a weapon we had never had before at running back.

    Wilson had so much potential. I loved Coughlin, but I don’t think he would have been the coach to maximize Wilson if he remained healthy.

    • @miketoonice
      @miketoonice  5 років тому +4

      Absolutely agree. With Coughlin in charge, he went to the wrong team. It reminded me of Kareem Hunt's first NFL game @NE when he fumbled his first carry... If Andy Reid benched him for that, like Coughlin would, we never see Hunt get the 200+ total yards and 3 TD's and a Chiefs win

    Im sorry but the giants don't know how to scout xfactor linemen. Pass Rushers and Rush Stuffers seem to be years ahead of OLinemen in the NFL its hard to do much with a below average o line

    Wilson should sue the giants for having zero O line when he was there. They caused his injuries

  • @richnorman1123

    Yes Barkley will be amazing continue to help Barkley run the ball contine to build in the trenches but going back to Wilson they should of just used him as a return man cause he had no o line help at all

    • @DeadStormPooper
      @DeadStormPooper 5 років тому

      Why would you use a first round pick as only a return man? lol that makes no sense.

    • @richnorman1123
      @richnorman1123 5 років тому

      @@DeadStormPooper I rather would of had him play wide receiver or a slot receiver and return man the o line stinked that year all is said and done we have saquads now contine to help him run the ball I wouldn't complain about a number one return man either who had the ability to take to the house also reese screwed over the giants big time

    • @DeadStormPooper
      @DeadStormPooper 5 років тому

      @@richnorman1123 You cant just make someone who plays running back in college who you also spent a first round pick, a wide reciever like that. Position changes like that happen with later round picks. He was drafted to be a starting running back no matter what the oline was like. Its just unfortunate his career was cut short. A good running back helps out the offensive line aswell.

      Richard Engroff I wouldnt call him a flat out bust. The 2013 team he was on was a complete disaster in the first half so i’m sure he had no holes to run through. Give Wilson a good line and you woulda seen results
