- Dominique came from the Netherlands to exhibit her first built on Shed Row at our 2019 London Show.
After being inspired to create her own custom after riding with Danish girls ‘Iron Birds’ and seeing their motorcycle workshop, she rented a bench at Outsiders Motorcycles and immediately got hands on learning new skills on her Honda CB550 project over the next 1.5 years.
With a full engine rebuild, unique 'stardust' powder paint work, V8 header inspired hand built exhaust, amongst a load of nice touches, Dominique created this custom scrambler that should definitely inspire those people on the verge of their first build.

I must be doing something wrong, I've been working on motorcycles for the past 12 years in the Netherlands but my average customer demographic is bearded, 50+ and reliving their second youth.. 😋
Nicely done. I love seeing women riding motorcycles. It's even cooler to see women making their own bikes. Really Inspiring. One of these days I'm going to take my old CB750 apart and build it exactly the way I want it.

Another really nice CB550 brat Scrambler. Dominique has done this bike proud they really are very popular of late the Classic Octane American guy (on YT aswell) has a soft spot for these aswell. I had the CB550 Four-K and the CB550F Sport model in the Early 1980s and used the K for Despatch Riding. V dependable and quick workhorse back then and now becoming an Iconic Brat bike in its later life. Looking forward to Tobacco Dock 😁👍

Wow everything just fits perfectly. Love the rear for luggage, the colours! I'm a bit confused about the switch thing on front light tho.
I installed a switch on my CB200 front headlight bucket in the same location. I use it to bypass the light during ignition, or to keep the light off when needing to idle it in the garage for tuning.
I must travel to Copenhagen. Beautiful bike, from a 550 owner.

Beautiful build, but a real shame not keeping that old, gorgeous Honda tank. The 70's CB's had some of the most beautiful tanks of all time.

Suede cover on the kick stater though? Looks nice but if your going to be actually riding/kicking it, I feel as if that would wear so quickly. Great build though!
She probably won't kick it much. If she does, she'll take her shoes off. ha

Any info on the indicators?
Nice to see something 'home-built'. Most of us have access to a shed, if not a CNC machine, and can bash on some metal. Not so sure about knobbies on the street though.
Several new bikes come on those tyres, amongst them the T7. They are more road then offroad biased and perfectly safe on road.

Their appropriate on a scrambler if your using a scrambler as intended. They probably strike the fear of god into you when riding on tarmac in the rain...

The bike sounds is what I wanted to listen to... I'd have been nicer if she turned on her bike.... coz I want to hear how 650 crankshaft sounds like 550 casing.

And no matter what else happens, you see a beautiful woman, strike up a conversation with her, determine she the kind of girl you want to date and then you work real hard to gather in your nerves and ask her out and she mentions those two words, or a variation thereof, "My Boyfriend, My , and sometimes, My Wife and there it is..... the wreckage you see before you. He crashed and burned Miss, right there in from of you, and you don't have a clue as to why that happened. Well, next time, listen to the guy, when he starts a pleasant conversation with you, when he struggles to get the words out, like would you like to get a cup of coffee sometime, have mercy on this guy. Dump your boyfriend, Husband, Wife etc... we want to be winners too! Lol
