I do think that this definetly will be a tier 0 deck, however i don't think its nearly in the same vein of ishizu tier where that was litterally the only deck to play. I do think there definetly are some solid options to beat fire king.
The definition of tier 0 is that it is the only viable deck. The first event of Tear Ishizu had like 76% representarion alongside some floo players who could barrier Statue lock them or simply shifter them and had luck. It's 1 deck and 1 deck that hard counters it. That's it. That's tier 0. Same went for spyral and all the other tier 0 formats. Just by that definition, Fire King can NEVER be Tier 0, why? All tier 0 decks came out the gate as as absolute top tier and then got more support that pushed them so far ahead that it was impossible to deal with. Fire King cannot fulfill those requirements.
@@TheKeksletsplay Well spyral definitely didn't do that, they were a very mid deck until double helix came out. Fire kings right now are a tier 1.5 deck that definitely have the potential to be tier 0 with populous and p princess. If anything I expect the deck to be about as dominant as spyral if not more so. Tear Ishizu was by far the best deck in yugiohs history and you don't need to achieve that level of dominance to be tier 0.

This isn’t Tier 0. I get why you say it, Fire decks are gonna destroy this format but the thing is, everyone is comparing it to the OCG where they completely neutralized Rescue-ACE and cards like Prosperity are limited, where Rescue-ACE here is completely playable, almost like it hasn’t really been touched, Prosperity to 3, and other surrounding decks are hurt in some capacity over in the OCG but not here. The three best decks in my opinion are Pure Snake-Eye, Snake-Eye Fire King and Snake-Eye Rescue-ACE. These will float in Tier 1, MAYBE 0.5 but that’s because decks you could put in Tier 1.5-2 can compete at the very least (Voiceless, Labrynth, Purrely, etc.)

There is no shot you think ponix is a problem, while FIRE KING snake eye decks play like max 7 fire king cards lmao
@@MrSpako13yeah the problem literally is not fire king but the entire sinful spoils lol
If card were different, card would be different
@@BassAndTrebleBR that's not what that argument is lol we've had fire kings for a month now and it's fine. snake-eyes is the broken part.
No one gives a fuck about ponix bro lmao. It’s the snake eye lvl 1
Runick Stun says Hello 👋🤗
time to put in some more drolls and dark ruler no mores
Even with dark ruler you still have to deal with the board nuke and all the floating effects after
This is hands down the most fun deck I unfortunatelly would never be able to play.
Can’t believe in 2024 fire king is gonna be meta deck like wtf
its some weird mutation
An impermanence or effect veiler on snake eye ash and d shifter decks could still give the deck trouble
i play against snake-firekings wiht my kash, i can hear their mind freakout when i use shifter XD
PAK, always dropping the best knowledge! Yes snake eyes / sinful spoils now including poplar, Tier 0
Absolutely agree, the engine/deck is so much more powerful and consistent than anything else in the format. It makes no sense playing anything else if you truly want to compete
as a fireking player, shifter, droll, a well timed ghost bell/ ash and any other handtrap can stop this combo.
poplar not being quarter century makes me think this is not a reliable combo lol
jokes aside great video PAK
Respectfully, going with the 2 negate apollousa is way safer than this and still gives you the same interruption without having to risk getting super poly’d with decode and flamberge in the draw phase
Are all these cards in Master Duel?
I will be the first to say it. Because I have this deck and have been playtesting it. This deck straight up loses to chaos angel made with a light type
Time for going 1st graveyard- hate deck
exosister teir 0 again. ty komoney for making my waifus strong again. abyss dweller, dimension shifter, exosister asophiel, d. d. crow, called by the grave, exosister vadis, lightning storm, raigeki, dark hole, super polymerization (into heros support or venom), etc.
Fire Nation is here
Hey pak , please can you do an infernoble knight deck/combo video now all the support has been added to master duel
Same as Tear format either you join them or join dark side with shifter.decks
The deck has like 3 possible shokepoints
Do you or your thumbnail editor watch Baalorlord? Same thumbnail style and you uploaded at the exact same time today lol
Oh. This deck is the one I actually have less trouble with. I really just struggle against mannadium. Red dragon archfiend actually has a pretty good match up against snake-eyes fire King BTW. Both have great recovery, but depending on if you go first, you can guarantee the game will keep going in your favor
My monkey brain is telling me to play 3 lava golem against this.
9 zone lock ptsd
I mean yeah, its good, but activate Triple Tactics Talent to take your monster?
Its definitely tier 1 but not anywhere near tier 0. Its not as frustrating to play against as full power Kashtira or Tearlaments.
Draw the out draw the out draw thew out draw the out draw the out draw the out
*plap plap plap plap* Draw the out draw the out draw the out draw the ooouuuuttttttt *plap*
Had to do it cuz this reminded me of that cursed copypasta. I will not ask for forgiveness.
4:12 Doesn't nib just kill you here? I mean you have 4 other cards in hand but not sure if you'd have enough extension in hand to get to princess
It's literally an explosion, fire monsters baby
What you think about soul release for side vs it cause it seems like hand traps don’t do much
Let's be real, the real problem is not the deck's power (even if it's maybe a bit too strong), but its price. It's as simple as that, wanted, diabellstar, bonfire, and now princess and poplar (thank holactie, they're only ultra rares but still these are gonna be really expensive as well). It's just insane
so even rescue ace snake eyes cant keep up with fireking snake eyes then ?
It’s about the same as in the ocg, in the tcg we don’t have maxx c approachin powerful combo decks
Whos even buying cardboard anymore everyone i know has given up because the power creep is unstoppable, inevitable and also ultra expensive
I'm going to be playing the side events.😅
bro pulled out Starlight Secrets after Starlight Secrets... CRAZY MONEY
Dame pak this is crazy shout out from Jamaica.
I’ll activate shifter in dp
basically goes +13 with 1 card
4:50 you cant special sum kuriboh, your lock in to fire monsters.
After you end your turn and der is no apo you will a nibiru or a evenly
Can we wait for actual tourneys before these kind of opinions are made. We aren’t OCG, Maxx C changes enough by itself.
snake eye ash can add back another snake eye ash for follow up, you don't have to add oak
so it just loops back on itself 😂
2 tear 0 formats in the last two years
And Kash was tier 0.5 last year while Arise-Heart was legal
Until I collect everything for SEFK, I am dabbling with Salamangreat. Princess adds a lot of to that deck.
Tear never folded under a single card in their prime. This deck apparently loses to droll/nib or shifter lmao
Ranked on Dueling Nexus has been unbearable since they allowed PHNI. Fingers crossed that most people at locals are priced out. I'm already over this format and if tears is anything to go by we've got at least 6 more months of it.
Is that a Gucci or Prada button down green ?
i play this deck and i think prosp is far more useful than bonfire, especially after siding you could reveal an ht or a spoly or an engine card
I think that the deck is by far too much. Its like if tear wasn't about milling and fusing, rather link summoning.
Pff, Gouki setup Gumblar Handrip for 4 while extra linking you and making everything unable to be destroyed or targeted while also having omni negates. No Sir, this endboard is a joke.
I hate how unchecked the power creep in this game has become since power of the elements
I’m gonna play Salamamgreat and hate my life.
I Play Tear ans Love my life
The deck is great but no comparison to Tear Ishizu, they did more on your turn than the opponent.
If you looked at his local feature he would have really lost game 1 he couldn't do anything going second. That's why the deck will not be a tier 0 format
Nib, droll, shifter, opening a hand with ash and impermanence does the job too, formidable deck but not tier 0
It won’t be tier 0. If the orcust engine with mermaid wasn’t tier 0 back in 2019 then this certainly won’t be tier 0 right now.
The difference is nothing is even remotely as powerful as the Snake Eye Engine.
Well seems like a great time to take a break
Droll, DD Crow or Nib will severely slow this combowombo
Deck Lockdown has a chance of becoming a very teched card this format
Since I cannot afford the wanted engine I'll be playing a broke boy form of snake eye fire king and ghoti!
Sauce for the meta report website ?
Road of the king
I mean the Tier 0 is one thing. What annoys me way more is that playing yugioh competitively just isnt possible anymore as a student. It feels more than a money machine for konami atm. Maybe its time to move on, i dunno
What cards do you think they will hit to lower the deck's consistency and power? I was thinking fire king kirin but it would suck to hit the fire king engine since i dont think its the main problem.
They will hit the fk engine because it's cheap
The actual solution is to just ban Original Sinful Spoils. The snake-eye and sinful spoils engines on their own would still be strong still strong but they no longer become stupidly consistent access to the level 1 fires that set up the craziest of what these various decks are capable of.
They‘ll probably limit Kirin and Snake Eye Ash since both are cheap and played at 3
I'd love to see prime Tears duel against the best fire deck out there..
It will be cooked with its on fire by Tears
Tear it's the only deck that deserves the phrase "Tear 0"
Laughs in Mannadium 🎉😢😅
I think fire king is weak because of field spell tbh and most board losebto board wipe yea they may get follow up if you do but I think the game has gotten to the point where if you don't go off turn 1 or finish them off turn 2 then you will lose or draw in time lol
unban knightmare mermaid surely
Pak, buddy, teaching your viewers how to play Fire Kings sub optimally on purpose just to easily win the mirror isn't the way to go. We both know there isn't a match in which you personally would do the combo that you just showed.
Just curious, what would he do differently? Is it the Apollusa line?
I’m not so sure it will be tier zero. But fire decks will be on top.
The editing is fireeeee 🔥
cuando el deck profile de majespecte, creo que sera un buen mazo
