Years passes, but Calexico are still around and playing this immortal song for us. As last month. And the vibes are still the same. And we'll never stop to be grateful for it
my old times with quick draw mcgraw. since my infancy the old west like me much. with this track i felt as don diego de la vega "zorro" . today i listen it and feel as a great old west cowboy.
I know this is 2 years later so I hope you wrote out the pandemic well. I agree with you about Zorro and you have to think this song came out in 2004 so it was a little more than 5 years after Zorro had released
🥀 Cette musique me bouleverse à chaque écoute.
I dont know what he means by "tucson music" and "gritos", why does he refuse to call it by its real name: MEXICAN FOLKLORE...try searchin mariachi + orchestra
It's positively based on that, but having roots in something, or even having most of the influence from something does not make it THAT. I presume mexican folklore really never uses a pedal steel guitar, so...that's that.
the happiest conductor and orchestra! look at them, they're having so much fun, esp the strings when they pluck..
... and so communicative 😍
He looks like he's dancing
@@annalevati5328i wouldn’t be surprised if he was dancing a bit. That’s what Latino music does. It makes you dance without even knowing

This just put a big grin on my face.what a band !
From childhood memories I’m so glad to hear this piece in complete
This must be the best piece of music I've ever heard.
I absolutely love all of your music and have for a long time, but together with a symphony orchestra, the effect is almost unbearably beautiful.
