Wow... Kes and Ambrose independently said the same thing after the race: "That's the way racing should be". I agree! Always more fun when the crews cross over to the other stall to thank them for the hard racing.
One of the greatest finished ever in NASCAR; at least during my lifetime. I remember watching this race and my family and I just screaming the whole last lap. We hate Kyle so we cheered like mad when BK turned him around. We pulled for Brad but to see Ambrose win in that fashion was too awesome to be upset about.
I only recently learned the extremes these guys go through and just how much talent and skill they have. THIS, was an amazing finish. I absolutely love NASCAR.
this still has to be the best finish i’ve seen in my time watching Nascar. i’m no Keselowski fan by any means but a finish like this where both guys are smiling and hugging is so respectable that you can’t be anything but happy. i still get chills when i rewatch this and hear those last lap calls by Bestwick. “A nudge! A push! Can Ambrose save it!?” too good
nascar88ford He was so much fun to watch on road courses. NASCAR needs to get rid of the California speedways and the Chicagolands of the circuit and find some more road courses to race on.
Heading to Watkins Glen this week. dont think it will top this race but i do hope an underdog wins if Jr. doesnt. i dont know what it is about road racing but man i get excited about it
Back in the day for NASCAR, taking 4 tires and filling up took about 60 sec. At the Glen the crews go from left to right which adds time to the stop. When they go from right to left the time for a stop takes about 12 to 13 sec
Micah Bell you’d really be surprised, Saw a NASCAR and a V8 Supercar parked next to each other and it’s not that crazy different... Just NASCAR’s don’t have the downforce and more power I think that’s the scary thing
The reason kyle crashed is because bobby labontee was blowing and spilling oil all over the track up but they did not throw the caution. This is also why everybody was going all over the place at the end.
Really don't like oval racing, but seeing these cars on this track driving like that is just epic. Now just get rid of all the sponsor bullshit in victory lane and it would even better.
I think it's hilarious how none of these announcers could connect the fact that the 2, the 9 and the 18 were all fishtailing, losing traction and going off course with the fact that oil was all over the track. Instead, magically, they thought they all had independent problems going on.
I don't want to see any of these three bozos in a fantastic finish; I want to see each of these three bozos in the wall, every week. I'm certainly not giving this video 51 minutes
One of the greatest races in NASCAR history, and the best at the Glen.
Wow... Kes and Ambrose independently said the same thing after the race: "That's the way racing should be". I agree! Always more fun when the crews cross over to the other stall to thank them for the hard racing.
Alonzo Harris and then no one starts crying when they get raced hard
Epic isn't enough to describe this finish.

Honestly brads a dick for turning kyle
Pistol Pete kyle came down on him
This was one of the craziest finishes ever. Love seeing two guys leave it all out there like that.
nascar needs 5 more road corse races. us australians love these races
7 next year
lol you finally get your wish!
Damn dude you nailed this one

too good
This is easily hands-down one of my favorite circuits in the world, for NASCAR and F1.
💯
I miss Ambrose!

TheDieHardWWEAddict
You're right. It's not.
+nascar88ford Please take him back. All he does is whinge and bitch in V8 Supercars.
+Humanoid Typhoon agreed.
You can have him back..He cant drive a real car anymore..
I *really* want to hang out and drink a couple/few/dozen beers with Keselowski. Seems like such a chill dude.
This is exactly why I want to see more NASCAR road races in the schedules. It's so much fun to watch.
This is forever a Classic race
This was so much fun to watch. Slipping, sliding, bumping and banging. Love it
"That's the way racing should be" Makes me also a fan of Brad's
Now thats how racing should be!
V8 Supercars Australia 2015. Marcos Ambrose comes back to road racing.
pretty cool. cars not designed for this and drivers with f1 and v8 supercar experience showing that the nascar guys can drive
Watkins Glen is one of the top 3 best tracks on the schedule. Change my mind
I second this 👆🏽 all we need now are those 900hp 9000+rpm engines back 🔥 at the very least on short tracks and road courses
@marcust510
@@fivespeed42 ✊🏽come on! Those COTs, although not the best looking, sounded insane.
@@marcust510 I was agreeing with you lol
@@fivespeed42 I know lol when I said “come on!” I meant it as a “hell yeah!” My bad if it came off wrong
My all Time Favorite Race, , 1 Kyle Busch got turned around 2 Brad Keselowski came Second {Love that guy} 3 Marcos Won ! !
Can you please involve more street circuits! From australia with love
There will be 7 road course races in 2021.
Without a doubt, one of the best finishes,on a road course in nascar history, just sayin
That was ONE AWESOME FINISH!
My all time favorite Nascar finish!
Mines Chicago cause I’m a huge SVG fan have been since 2016 because I love Red bull even more but that might change
I'm going to miss Marcos Ambros
Here after SVG’s last Aussie race can’t wait to see what he will accomplish here in NASCAR
What an awesome finish.
I remember this race, I was watching it, I was pissed cause I was hoping for the Dodge to win, Brad Keselowski....
Heading to Watkins Glen this week. dont think it will top this race but i do hope an underdog wins if Jr. doesnt. i dont know what it is about road racing but man i get excited about it
Sound like you love right concers as much as left concers at a guess
Saudades 😢😢
Impressive how the pit stop works in NASCAR 16 or less seconds for one pit stop...wow!
I know! 2.2 seconds and sometimes 3.0 - but less not forget they don't fill up the tans anymore, and they only run for 60 + laps
Witty UA-cam name And they only have one lugnut and they have a bunch of people
Back in the day for NASCAR, taking 4 tires and filling up took about 60 sec. At the Glen the crews go from left to right which adds time to the stop. When they go from right to left the time for a stop takes about 12 to 13 sec
+Witty UA-cam name great, one lugnut per tire for 15 people in pits, laaaaazy europeans.....
Now Ambrose trying to get second from Keselowski while he tries to get the lead from Kyle.
OH CONTACT IN THE ESES!
Eram uns belos carros na época da Nascar, que saudades dessas máquinas. 😔😕
NASCAR need to have a race at Mt Panarama Bathurst Australia now that would really be something.
They shouldn't its to skinny for nascars they would crash on every corner
Micah Bell you’d really be surprised, Saw a NASCAR and a V8 Supercar parked next to each other and it’s not that crazy different... Just NASCAR’s don’t have the downforce and more power I think that’s the scary thing
@@mozzaplaysgames7897 would make it pretty exciting
They used to run Nascars at Bathurst, The Australian Nascars run there a couple of years in a row. They were only 10-12 lap races though.
Could you imagine nascar down Conrod straight 200 mph over the hump the thing would the car would shit it self spear off into the trees.
Moonlight Sonata At The Beginning
wow! what a finish nascar should put oil down on all the last 2 tracks!
Couldn't believe that commentators dident pick up that the track had oil all over it SO obvious.
The reason kyle crashed is because bobby labontee was blowing and spilling oil all over the track up but they did not throw the caution. This is also why everybody was going all over the place at the end.
Fun fact: it was 2nd and last 2012 Cup race where Joe Nemechek finished
i'm lovin' it
This is supposed to be compensation for the destruction of archives theLP2008? Very poor substitute.
Really don't like oval racing, but seeing these cars on this track driving like that is just epic. Now just get rid of all the sponsor bullshit in victory lane and it would even better.
NASCAR Should add 2 more Road courses at least in Sprint Cup
and MARCOS AMbROSE should come back to nascar
+X-Tsunami ______ Yes he should go back to NASCAR, I can't stand him in the V8 Supercar series.
X-Tsunami ______
Where Is Allmendinger?
awesome
His "dig" at Edwards for going all roid rage when he gets raced hard and leaned on.
brad keselowski did a great season in 2012 with dodge but now he struggling in 2013 and 2014 with ford.
He isn't struggling in 2014, at all...
Allen LaWalter But 2012 season was the best day for dodge winning the championship with Brad Keselowski.
pass dtedr Yes but he isn't struggling in 2014
Allen LaWalter I know he isn't struggling in 2014. But I am bored seeing only Chevy, Ford, and Toyota racing all the races but not Dodge.
Because Dodge decided to pull out and I applaud them for it
thank god they didnt end on caution that finish was great
44:10 9 laps to go and show us Marcos Ambrose in the 9
Now I get where the 355 comes form
i was there and i got to go to victory lane
Kyle Busch had an great race in that track in 2012 but at the end he spun
thank goodness KYLE BUSCH Did Not WIN!!!!
Sorry but he did this year
nickolas114 You SUCK!!!
Kyle Busch gets loose? Not like there was oil all over the track
good race
They need to figure out a way to dump oil on the track every race. Awesome.
badad0166 go bobby

I was there in person and at the time I didn't know/think there was oil on the track. I just thought they were racing really hard.
If oil is on the track, NASCAR should have thrown a caution
they got 900 ofc they're loose wtf
Frederrik Rasmussen horspower
in my UA-cam cup series mc muarry is a rookie
Moonlight Sanda really?? Lol
haha nascars handle like a brick with wheels
Call Kyle had that I don’t know what happened he was run out of gas or his tire
ok
MISSION FAILED
Almirola didn't win the race
poo pooo
