Half Moon, also called Ardha Chandrasana, is one of my all time favorite yoga poses! It's a great way to stretch and strengthen your entire body while working on your balance.
For many students this pose can be quite tricky so I'll show you how to get into it from Warrior 2, Triangle Pose, using a block and using the wall. Enjoy!

So good! This pose has helped a HEAP to open up my hips/strengthen glutes; a product of mountain biking and sedantry work... Also; it makes you look cool as shit.
Half moon is a pose that I dread when it comes up in class but your explanation really helps. Using a wall as you suggested was a big help for me. I need to practice some more using the wall and then figure out how to move away from it (or how to take my wall along to class 😂)
Those look like some comfy-ass yoga pants - I don’t usually like product plugs but guuurl, where did you get those?
Came to learn more about this pose because I was intrigued-I found myself more balanced psychologically and mentally after practicing balancing poses, kind and firm with ease, I don’t know how to explain it but it’s magical, and it’s becoming one of my favorite poses as well, thanks for the tips!

I am out of breath from trying to hold this pose, it’s taking a lot, especially on my right leg, probably because I broke my foot and my stability was never totally back… Thank you for the challenge Kassandra 🕊🤍🦚

Thank your for the great tutorial, will try the wall practice to improve my alignment :) btw for keeping balance I have found useful to look into horizon instead of looking down when getting to the pose. Also i have a request for a tutorial, can you please do triangle pose? I struggle a lot with the alignment there. Thanks!
