I ordered an MT09 because of your wonderful vlogs. Still waiting for stocks, I’m from the Philippines though 🇵🇭 A big shout out to all Filipinos out there! Mabuhay!
Awesome!!! Love my Filipino family! Thank you for watching the channel. Happy that you watch the mt09 videos and are getting one. So much fun, you will see. Ride safe my friend 🙏
Hey, not sure if you could help but I took my rear tire to the shop to have a new one put on and they took out the collars and I’m not sure where they go? One has a round lip on the outside and the other one doesn’t?
You DO NOT need to loosen your chain adjusters to remove the rear rim. You’re asking for unnecessary problems if you do that. Pull the axle out and the chain will be more than loose enough to remove from the sprocket.
@@yamayari8351 just out of curiosity…why the road 6 over the power 5? I’m looking now for when my s22’s are ready to be replaced but considering I don’t ride in the rain unless I get stuck in it, I was more concerned with keeping a more street/track oriented tire on the bike. The road 6 seems great but with the tread looks like it’s geared more towards all weather rides. Thoughts?
@@Average_D sticky, better miles, an great for wet roads, which here in Florida we need for sure! If I only needed sticky I would have purchased the Battleaxe again or the Q3’s. Thanks for asking.
Is there a play or any clicking sound on ur rear brake when u return it? I was confuse when i putting back my calipers the annoying sound is on the caliper bracket when I'm pressing rear brakes, do u think its normal?
thank you for this video. For the front wheel is that just a rear stand you used or is that a special front stand? Also you have to torque the caliper to a certain spec right?
Great videos! Having an 09 SP you have given me lots of input about whats and whatnots. But now I am in dire need for new tires and the Road 6 ticks the box but apart from wear I really love the S22. Maybe it's too early for a full review but do you have any comments when doing twisties riding in "normal" weather conditions? How is grip and cornering now in comparison?
To be honest I have not really been able to test out the tires. TST has had my bike in the shop for a few weeks working on the new integrated taillight. And some other modifications. I’m hoping to get the bike back this week an ride it over the weekend and definitely do a review video. I definitely will have it posted soon. But from the little I have experienced especially since on day one it rained like crazy definitely really good tires nice grip well balanced and felt really smooooooth! But stay tuned and thank you for watching the Channel 🙏
I’ve had both tyres on same bike and unless u are going to do track days the the road 6 are awesome there got more grip than u will ever need I ride my bike hard and so far I’m impressed with road 6 when I first changed over from s22 to road 6 they did fell really wierd but after 30 mins there lovely 😊
Bought the exact same tire, replacing the battlax. They only lasted 3000 km. before the canvas was visible. Hope these stay with me for a longer period. @Yamayari, they do look weird on the MT09, don’t you think so?
The tread pattern is really aggressive, so the look is really distinct, so yes in a way they do look weird but, like the cyclops eye on the MT I’m sure it will grow on me lol
Yes! One thing you can do is buy a stabilizer. They are pricey but they help tremendously. But for this year motorcycle very few options. Another trick you can do is loosen your grip and arm tension and pinch the gas tank with your knees. Kind of makes a human stabilizer and should help. You Just have to relax your arms a little more, sometimes we hold onto tight and it creates friction which makes the bike vibrate.
Thanks for the info! Is it really necessary to loosen the chain slack bolts? I was thinking after you remove the axle the wheel will move forward far enough to pull the chain aside.
I love your bike. I was hoping to get it to replace the one that was totalled in the accident that I was in, but it looks like I won't be getting it for awhile, I don't really know how long it will take me to get it since I don't make much, and the money that I got from my totalled bike isn't enough so I gave it to my son to repair his truck that use to be mine for college. I haven't been work since, and by the looks of my recovery. I end up starting to work next year. Even than I won't be making enough to save up for my bike. I don't mind financing it, but with my situation, and all the medical bills, I don't know what going to be. I hope my case wins so I can get that bike. Either than that I'm just going to be dreaming of riding again which I miss so much.
Those are good too! Super great tire for ripping the streets. But I wanted something more commuter friendly with grip, rain worthy and that would give me high mile life. So that’s why I went with these. Thank you for watching an the great feedback.
I started following you becuase we both got out tnt 135 like the same week lol. I did not realize you had a mt 09. I was about to buy one. But bought the 22 GSXs 750 instead.
A good compromise between S22/23 (they wear too damn FAST) and Road 6 is the Bridgestone T32 sport touring tire that actually come on the MT-09s heavier sibling the Tracer 9GT (same engie same frame and same wheels as MT-09) The T32s are REALLY good! They last twice as long as the S22 which I had on my MT-10 and was to the wear bar at 600 miles! The T32s that came stock on my Tracer 9 lasted 2700 miles but almost all those miles were spirited twisties which is how I enjoy my street bikes...they aint for commuting but folks that DO use their T32 shod tracer 9s for commuting and more straight line touring claim to get up to 10k miles ...I would fall over if I ever got an honest 4k miles even lol. Twisties destroy tires FAST...not as bad as track days but similar. The mich road 6s are just too damn pricey! I just bought a set of T32s BStones (180 120 combo) for 320ish delivered to my door I am now finally mounting em myself which is a steep learning curve and big cash outlay for all the equiptment but I am sick of 2 hour drive and paying out the nose every several weeks
