Update: I just got done running the generator at max load for 72hrs non-stop after a storm did significant damage to our area. This was the longest I have run it continuously and it performed well.
Thanks, yeah the exhaust goes up 2 stories and out the top of the house. Definitely not ideal but does keep CO undetectable. I was lucky to have the wideband around for another project. They are pricey
Great video! Typically don't see many with the this level of technical insight as to why "it's not running right". One question - have you tested the max watts after adjustment to determine if it changed? And if so, is it consistent with the rating or closer to the higher rating using another fuel? With that ability to adjust and monitor, in theory it may be possible to match the higher rating?
Thank you! I agree with your idea, which is essentially dyno tuning. The missing link for me is a reliable variable load. The closest I can come is running several space heaters to near the generators maximal output and measuring the current and voltage it puts out. It’s worth a try!

I’m tempted to buy a wide band to do this. Great video. Not a fan of that long exhaust but it works.
