Not trying to be rude at all. Im honestly curious. Why does Ariel swallow like that? It's like he's forcing the food down cuz he's not chewing it well enough so he has to lunge his head/neck outward to help get the food down. I wish he would chew longer so he doesn't end up choking. It looks like he has a hard time swallowing.

I love GARDINIERA. A pickled cauliflower red pepper... I bet you guys would love it. I cut it with a little Evoo. because I'm a whimp when it comes to hot. 💚

This is a quick one and not for a canning bath. Fill your bite sized pieces of cauliflower tightly in a quart jar and add carrot slices, pepper strips, a couple of red hot chili peppers (optional) a little bit of white onion for a kick, and some people add zucchini and yellow squash, whatever you might like in addition but the cauliflower is the main ingredient. Add 1 tsp. of sea salt, fill the jar 2/3 way up with white vinegar. Add water to the top. Invert. You can also throw a few peppercorns in it. Some people put oregano or bay leaves but I don't. Let sit outside of the fridge for 1~2 days and then fridge after that. Because of the high vinegar content, you can leave it in the fridge for a month or more but every time you take a pickle out, you must use a clean, dry spoon or the solution will get dirty and pollute. Alternately, I have also tried adding 1 tsp. of white sugar in it for a tangy sweetness. A friend of mine said that her grandmother used no sugar at all. Just veggies, salt, vinegar and water. It's very "pickly" and great with all kinds of meat, in sandwiches and as a condiment next to stew. I hope you like it. As I said, it's a quickie recipe but mine never lasts longer than a week or so! And you can always adjust the salt and sugar as you like but start out with the basic salt, vinegar and water solution. My favorite part of course is the cauliflower and the carrots. The rest, I can take it or leave it.
Oops, PS, some people top the jar off with olive oil just to keep the air out of the solution but it adds a nice flavor to the pickles too. Some people add cloves and juniper berries but..........lol yuck.

Victoria you so make me miss Texas with your Church's Chicken (which I think you say adorably). Also, Popeye's is pronounced Pop (like what you drink) and Eyes (like what you see with) Popeye's. Which BTW, have REALLY good biscuits. Since your videos here are not in chronological order it is worth repeating why you got the chicken. I watch your daily vlogs EVERYDAY (ALL of them) and could not remember why you got the chicken. You literally could have gotten Church's 3-4 times since recording this; therefore it IS worth repeating especially for those that haven't seen the vlogs or are not up to date . On a side note, I found a HUGE Asian market (99 Ranch I know weird right?) and found the most amazing Korean products! Even gochujang!!

Ariel's spicy tolerance is getting better and better each time; he will get to your level, Victoria. That's ahmazing how he experiences with foods and at least gives it a try without hesitating. There isn't a Church Chicken around my area or even in the state lol ; I only tried Popeyes and KFC. I honestly loved Popeyes even when I had it once; KFC always fuckd up my orders especially when the crispy chicken aren't crispy.
