Lana, I love your videos 😊 so relatable and real yet encouraging and fun. I look forward to more videos! Congrats on your pregnancy - praying for a healthy and peaceful delivery. Also a natural home birthing mama of 3! Two questions: 1. Where is your rug from in your living room? (I think - it’s the room with the couches) 2. How do you balance having a “side job” (UA-cam) while homeschooling and taking care of house. My husband helps a lot but homeschooling is mostly on me. My oldest is going to be 6 soon and I feel a lot of pressure to be doing “more” although he loves to play and asks me questions all day! Always learning!
Great questions, it is a Magnolia rug from a collection 3 years ago. It has really held up well! I bought it at a local dealer not online, ut I would recommend their rugs for sure. And #2 is so tricky, ya know, I do not always do this well. I am trying to be content to go slow and steady. I have to hold myself back as much as I can so I don't leave my primary responsibility. I have always just loved serving women, I used to be a college softball coach and left that to come home with my babies. All to say, I do not even come close to doing it perfectly, but when I am doing it well. I get about 3 hours of work in a day. One hour before they wake or after they go to sleep. And then I aim for 1-3. Now that afternoon time is hard bc I get interrupted so much. I go all in on my family and my house from 7ish-1ish. And then again from 3-8pm. I also use my YMCA, they give me two hours of childcare and the kids love coming. I am committed to homeschooling and putting them first, so I am just holding all of this as open handed to the Lord as possible. I know it is about Him anyways. Feel free to reach out on insta with a voice memo, I would be happy to cheer you on however I can
Ah that is the best that you mentioned that, glad my faith is coming through bc I know I would be nothing without my faith and hoping it can encourage other women to not go alone on this journey without Christ. Grateful for your encouragement
