New software for model railway train departure announcements and background sounds.
This is still a work in progress but does contain all spoken announcements of all 2300+ stations on the network. Lots more background sounds to be added. Also has a real time chiming station clock that chimes the hours and every quarter hour.

Well done looks good, if you want will it be possible to put in a fictious name in it ie a name on your railway?, and will it be possible to pre record an announcement for later? The best of luck with this will watch out for when you have it ready to go. Please keep safe and well.

Hi Robert. Yes, you will be able to save an announcement that you have set up, and then load it into any one of ten 'slots' ready to play. The departure and calling lists can also be saved/loaded so you don't have to always type in the station names that you would use most often.
It is possible to add your own station names announcement just by copying an audio .wav file into a folder, but getting the voice to match the other announcements would be tricky. I will be offering a custom service to generate them, probably just for £2 or so, depending on how many.
What is this softwere called
It's probably going to be called Train Announcement Generator but I'm still writing it so it might change name yet.
Should be ready for release in about 2 weeks time.

Hi Law. There is no website, it's a Windows software/program. I'm still developing/testing but hopefully will be released in about a months time.
