01:59 Barnsley and Barnsley Court House. There is only one station in Barnsley (unless its a hold over from its original days when there was a court house near to the current bus and rail interchange) but I have never heard it called or announced Barnsley Court House.
Hi The software contains all of the british passenger stations ever opened - over 8000 of them. Barnsley Court House Station opened by the Midland Railway in 1870 and closed 1960, probably as part of the Beeching cuts. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barnsley_Court_House_railway_station
@@philhawksey Thank you for the reply, I've seen pictures of it in use and the viaduct etc when it was in use and looks a lot different today.
Why cant I change the station name to other front letters, it tells me a demo Version but on yours it didnt

is the audio in mono only?
Announcements and railway sounds are on the left speaker, ambient and other background sounds are on the right. It's so you can position 2 speakers under a model railway, one under the station and one in the village or farm for example

Added this to my collection today, thanks Phil. Just a brief observation so far can you save the files in different formats ?
In the next update (should be out in a few weeks) you'll be able to save the announcement directly from the program in wav or mp3 formats.
Can you change the voice of the announcer? Or is it just the one voice? Very clever!
It's just the one voice at the moment. The forthcoming BR version will have a male voice

What is this softwere called
It's probably going to be called Train Announcement Generator but I'm still writing it so it might change name yet. Should be ready for release in about 2 weeks time.
Hi, Well done looks good, if you want will it be possible to put in a fictious name in it ie a name on your railway?, and will it be possible to pre record an announcement for later? Hi Robert. Yes, you will be able to save an announcement that you have set up, and then load it into any one of ten 'slots' ready to play. The departure and calling lists can also be saved/loaded so you don't have to always type in the station names that you would use most often. It is possible to add your own station names announcement just by copying an audio .wav file into a folder, but getting the voice to match the other announcements would be tricky. I will be offering a custom service to generate them, probably just for £2 or so, depending on how many.
