What is Helium (HNT) Network?
Helium (HNT) is a decentralized blockchain-powered network for Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Launched in July 2019, the Helium mainnet allows low-powered wireless devices to communicate with each other and send data across its network of nodes.

My problem is that amount of mining changes it goes for weeks at 0.02 HNT a day and then suddenly at random week of 0.15 HNT a day, When I look at my witness they pretty much the same all the time. So why the mining is not reasonably the same all the time?
By far the best explanation on Helium Mining and th HIP 51 I have seen. thanks for the Excel sheet. I went from total dispair to feeling ok about my miner watching this. I´m now a subsriber :) thanks!

Great video, and excellent advice like all of Tario's videos. It's the price of HNT that fluctuates and not the tokens you're mining today. It may take time but maybe your tokens will be worth so much more than the money you spent a couple years from now.

Since the 16th of this month, my Bobcat 300 is active online and is on sync mode. The problem is the peer-to-peer inbound connection is not active. Any suggestions? Oh, and the green light is on.

Hello, I installed a new miner in relatively rural area Dingman Ferry, PA. I can't witness anyone yet, but I see an octagon maybe a mile away from my place. After 2 weeks of being active, my miner RK7248 earned exactly 0 HNT:). Do you think i should invest into better reaching antenna or better move it to more populous place like Brooklyn, NY?
I'm also in a very rural area with no other miners particularly close (closest is approx. 15 miles). However, I am right next to a freeway, making me wonder if it would be worth the investment because of this. I'm not sure.
I'm a Helium outsider. My understanding is very few users have used Helium network for LoraWan & IoT, so miners mostly just serve eachother, so the Lora looks to just be a gimmick & gimmicks are very common with 20 000 cryptos trying to just get recognized & insiders earning $$$ even from "shiitcoins".

You can set it up outside on the roof, u get more coin but, those coin are worthless, dont fall for the chinese scam.

@@stephencahnmann8788 the only difference is on the gold hotspot (it has 8gb of RAM memory) apart from that both mntd and Rak hotspot are the same... Produced by Rak wireless but sold by 2 different companies Rak hotspot (calchipconnect) and mntd sold directly by Rak wireless. Cheers

Bro, you should check out #MXC they just got listed on #coinbase which is huge. For #HNT I felt for miners is kinda saturated now look at the number of miners Vs MXC it’s about 20 to 30 times difference :(

Thats a huge no way. Not even at $199 per device. At current prices it would take 10 years to break even. Now I am waiting on the 5g version with higher payouts.

i make 120$ a year with the price of electric its about 60$ for electric. so i make about 60$ a year plus the price of HNT is dropping because of the more supply being thrown on the market HNT will be about 2$ in the next few months plus the halvaning which will be coming soon in the next few months it will not be worth it anymore. i’ve notice loads of people selling the bobs cats on ebay . HNT is over.

why would crypto 'recover'. .. ? its like why would anyone buy something that has no real use or value, beyond a lot of helium.. i don't understand what it is used for. crypto has value as an exchange token, or other trackable things.. contracts.. etc. the token of exchange needs some stability over time. in other words the most useful currency is one that stays stable over time. ie gold, silver etc.. a currency is not an investment, its a medium of exchange. to this is basically insane.

Its logical not worth it as its logical business sense really and Helium should of consider this. if the average miner takes 2 years to pay off and it it does becuase the rewards are so low therefore its not a valued item as they have stated the rewards will change and go down een more with there USA only 5g release... thats why people are selling up and miners aren't even selling on ebay ...

Dude if you count internet plus electricity and all that stuff plus you said 8.5 years to get 500 bucks back so it’s literally 80 bucks a year. It sounds stupid horrible investment. 10 people in the hex and he still have a 1 transmit scale ,he lives on campus at simon fraser university 80m cause he lives in a 8 story apartment looking at the open hex next to him,it's all forest and 500m from the closest property. 10 in a hex should an average of .25 Transmit scale.
