I had the same problem with the cape. Next time, try this. Before you put the head and hands on, find some very small alligator clips, no teeth, maybe plastic ones, position the cape loosely around the torso and use a very small amount of solvent glue in the joints to attach the front sections one at a time. When both are dry, reach under with a and run a line of glue along the seams, not too close to the edges, then you can glue the cape down onto the shoulders. I also custom-positioned the feet on the base so he didn't lean so much.

Great looking build up. I'm getting ready to start building this kit and boy am I glad I found your video. This kit was reissued in the early 90's by monogram and that's the one that I have.
