Hi,
It's fully scenario based qs?
I highly recommend these 1-10 videos to those who are going for Tableau desktop specialist certification. You will get some questions from this series, and some will be tricky, but if you have good hands on Tableau Desktop daily, you will definitely clear the exam. Thank you Kapil!
Thank you so much for the feedback 🙏 . I am glad that you find it useful in your journey
Thank you so much
You are welcome 🙏
Thank you for your sharing. but seem like Q17 the answer should be D.(Dimension & Measure). if the correct answer is A please give more explanation.
you are right. It's dimension and measure
Are you sure about 4?
"Groups, sets, calculated fields, bins" is wrong.
This information is normally stored in the workbook (.twb), not in the data source file (.tds). The .tds file essentially contains metadata and connection information.
Hi, thanks for sharing your view on it. But if you look at the question, it states that .tds only contains information ...... May be there is misunderstanding of the question. for safer side, i will add this point in Description.
Please refer help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/export_connection.htm.
Data Source (.tds) - contains only the information you need to connect to the data source, including the following:
- Data source type
- Connection information specified on the data source page; for example, database server address, port, location of local files, tables
- Groups, sets, calculated fields, bins
- Default field properties; for example, number formats, aggregation, and sort order
Same about 6?
The option d) "It is not required to define a join type in a relationship" is not correct because in most databases, including Tableau, defining a join type is required to define the relationship between the tables and get correct results.
Hi , Thanks for your view on it. Tableau Support Join, Relationship & Data Blending to connect data from database. But if you look at the functionalities of Relationship in tableau, it doesn't support any join type to connect data from multiple database because relationship describes how two tables relate to each other, based on common fields, but doesn’t merge the tables together. for more information you can refer - help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/relate_tables.htm
This questions are referred for 2022.3 version
These are applicable to the newest pattern. Till now many people have cleared their certification by watching playlist
