Excited to play some Ogdo Mitsurugi. Will have to dig up my old invasion vengeance booster boxes as I definitely had a lot of crystron cards in those too
I think coelacanth but i havent tested the IB version yet so i’m biased. I just dont like playing the IB brick, but the cards are cooler and i like synchros so worth a shot maybe
Coelacanth > IB The coelacanth is called the “fish version” because without it, there is a case to be made for only playing 1 abysspike while you always play 3 with Coelacanth. Personally, coelacanth is a tricky one. Because you absolutely do not need it to play. Especially with the new Poseidra in SUDA. But Coelacanth can get you through some specific choke points if you are getting interrupted. Other than that, it hasn’t much crazy use outside from your preference to always set up 2 XYZ plays. Personally I dont play Coealacanth nor IBs since I aim for a going first 40 cards lists that aims to close the game turn 1. But with Poseidra coming, there is an idea running around to build Mermails as pure going 2nd decks once again. Could be amazing, especially if swap to a boardbreaker format.

Always enjoy these videos! If you were to go back to playing mermails would you play the coelacanth or the version more focused on the ice barriers?
