Thanks for watching, guys! Be safe! Firearm safety is number one! - Спорт
“Be very careful” proceeds to swing ridiculously without accuracy missing multiple times😂
“If you’re using a hammer and not a rubber mallet.” Thanks for watching 👍
No he said “give it some good whacks cause it’s in there” haha funny shit though!
😂
He did say that it was awkward to perform the task while a camera is in your field of view, that otherwise wouldn’t have been
Awesome video brother!! Very “to the point” and no bullshit stories to fill time unnecessarily. I’m going to pull my daggers apart and polish the triggers now, best dagger trigger tutorial on the web, nice job!!👍👍 You helped me immensely!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks, bud. I’m glad it helped someone.
Youre the first person ive seen with a near identical setup as me, i LOVE the chameleon barrel. I just have a compensator on mine and a +5 extension. Love my Dagger!
You just earned a new subscriber man, good video. I cant wait for the new Sabre line to come out.
Thanks for the sub!
Good vid....thanks for sharing! ..and thanks for the link. I'll be installing both the mag release and the trigger.
Which trigger did you go with?
I only had a plastic flooring mallet and a thick roll of duct tape. Thanks for the tutorial. It worked great!
I just use a pair of scissors and whatever hammer is closest
In my opinion, a highly polished stock Glock Gen 3 trigger, and I mean everything polished as well as the stock connector, striker and striker safety plunger and a Johnny Glocks VEX trigger shoe is the best setup I've ever shot. Great video
I’ve never tried that shoe but I’ve polished up every friction part and even with the stock shoe it feels amazing.
@@sellswords2318 You're right. I also use white lithium grease on the birds head and connector friction point.
Awesome. Great video and hilarious
The best explanation on the dagger. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
The easiest way to remember the spring under the cruciform is it's in the shape of an s
You helped me. Thank you
Got my Subscription ❤. Thanks for gge video. I'm Locked in!
You're in! Thank you, bud.
I just did this install and holy sh*t it might be the crispest Glock trigger in my house. And I have Overwatch and Glock Performance triggers in some of my Glocks
Haha, it gets a lot of hate but I’ve learned to love that Glock trigger. Since I don’t touch internals on my carry Glocks I train with them often so I’m used to it. When I shoot tac night with my 17.3 w/ the Timney in it I feel unstoppable!
Thanks
Good video, I’m about to do the same swap. I don’t mind Glock triggers too much, but I HATE the Dagger trigger. Bought a Shadow Systems Glock trigger for $20, hoping it improves my shooting experience with the Dagger.
Could I use a regular 1/8in punch for the pins?? Or does it have to have to be a rolled punch?? I don’t have one near me
Love the video. Doing this to mine tonight. But I just had to ask since I didn’t see it in the comments. What grip do you have?
I can’t remember for sure but this is the brand I run on my 43 and 43X so probably this one: a.co/d/51dlKJ0
In case the link doesn’t work it’s Talon Grips “rubberized”. Granulate is sandpaper. Grippy as can be but if you conceal carry it could get uncomfortable. Cheers
Exactly what I was look for to upgrade my dagger trigger. Thanks!
Great vid, man. Thank you!
Question.... The minus connector you used to replace the factory one is a lone wolf, yes?(I noticed the indents on either side of the centre strand)
And, if so, why did you choose it? I'm new to this modding business.
Thanks, brother.
Thanks, man. I just reached into my bin of old spare parts and grabbed whatever one was in there. There was no thought behind which one I was putting in. It worked out though!
Was looking at doing a serpico lyte trigger somone said it was like a apex clone. But ive been reading you have to do a mod to stop over travel.
I have no experience with that trigger. Let me know how it goes if you scoop one up.
the stock Dagger trigger has actually turned out to be one of my favorite triggers lately so i don't even know why i'm here
To give me a view and a comment which is appreciated.
@@sellswords2318 you got it brother 💪🇺🇸
Might as well put an aluminum flat faced trigger shoe on that bad boy!
Thanks for this video! it will help me in the near future. I want to put some gold pins, take down pin gold slide release, gold back plate and trigger shoe. I think it will set it off. Will the pins work out? Ive heard something about the older gen of daggers.
I heard the pins were walking out before, is that what you’re referring to? Not sure if the older Daggers had regular pins but being that they’re roll-pins now means the tension applied by the roll-pin trying to open keeps them seated firmly in place.
@@sellswords2318 yeah. I looked into it further they use proprietary pins. If you try to use the oem glock pins I heard they fall all the way through to the other side. Do you know if slide releases can be swapped with no problem? I've heard mixed reviews on that.
I don’t know about the slide release, I’ve never changed it on neither the Dagger nor the Glocks I own.
@@sellswords2318 appreciate all the info!
Can I just replace the whole trigger housing and bar etc with the one from my Glock 43x? I’m asking in reference to the micro dagger in that case.
I don’t know, bud. I haven’t had a micro dagger.
Yes, that’s the only way you can is by replacing the entire system
Update.
I put a stock Gen3 Glock trigger, I polished the bar and connector and the trigger is downright excellent.
Some guys don’t like it but I’ve grown fond of the stock Glock trigger. It somehow feels even better in a Dagger. 👍
Can you explain the polishing part? What do you polish it with
@Teddjenkins
Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. Makes the parts shiny and smooth.
Newbie to Glock style handguns: I don't have a gen 3 to drop into it, just a stock dagger. What is the best bang for your buck purchase to upgrade my stock trigger?
My personal favorite trigger for any gen 3 Glock or clone is the Timney Alpha. Some say it’s too light to carry with. Plenty of great reviews on the Johnny Glock trigger kit. I personally have the Apex trigger in my Dagger with some sort of lightened connector. The Timney trigger is in my Glock 17… I do not carry it. It’s my tacticool gun for running courses. Hope that helps.
Did you just use a regular punch or 1 specific for the rolled pins?
I used a roll pin punch but I’m sure you can get away with using a normal punch.
What anodized barrel is that?
It came in the Dagger slide. It’s PSA’s “chameleon” barrel.
So it's cool to re-use the same roll-pins right?
I’d reach out to PSA with that question but I reused them and haven’t had any issues.
You forgot to mention , that you were suppose to place grease where the connector & trigger housing metal rubs together . Otherwise great vid!
So a 100% stock Glock trigger and bar will drop in a Dagger or Dagger S?
Worked for me.
Nice olight!
I like the Olights. Literally made a video about how much hate they get earlier today. Check it out 👍
People get so mad too! They claim they explode but I own several dozen and never had a problem with any of them except the warrior mini 2 which did get hot but they warrantied it for me right away
I’m having trouble getting the slide release back in w that weird wire.. any help?
It’s a bit tough to line it all up. That wire is the spring that returns it. I recommend you drop the slide release into place first, make sure it’s close to center of the hole and then drop the locking block over it. You’ll have to put pressure down on the locking block to “compress” the spring (weird wire thing). Then run a punch through the other side of the gun to capture all of the components. Then just follow the punch back through with the corresponding pin. Hope this helps. 👍
@@sellswords2318got it!! Thanks for the video and the help!
The spring should make an S as you are looking st it.
Did you do the stippling/texture on your grip or have it done? I want to do mine.
It isn’t stippled, it’s a stick on rubberized grip they sell on Amazon. Clean the frame, stick it on (it comes precut to fit your gun) and then hit it with a heat gun. I recommend them all the time. I also have it on my Glock 43 and 43X.
Thank you
I can not get the trigger pin out. Just will not budge.
Lift and/or wiggle the slide lock lever as you push on the trigger pin.
Can i just swap trigger shoe
You can. I’m sure there’s a video out there of someone swapping a trigger shoe out.
Nice video. I also spy an Olight!
I got an Olight Odin Mini to review. Light works surprisingly well and didn’t blow up when I left it on until it drained out. That said it felt like it was 200 degrees. It’s survived the concussion off the SBR which is teeth-chattering. The charging system is nice. I still prefer Streamlight and Surefire lights. 😅
@@sellswords2318 Pocket IEDs lol
Awesome explanation but couldn't you just use the whole trigger housing to put in the Dagger instead of transplanting the Glock trigger bar into the Dagger backend?
I’m sure it drops right in.
Great stuff 💯Wish we could Own Handguns in the UK 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
What’s the red trigger?
Apex
I agree the compact daggers are awful. For some reason the full size S model frames have a better trigger
Is there a print file available for that block? It looks really useful. Thanks!
There is but I don’t know where to find it. Google 3d printed armorer’s block maybe? Like I stated a buddy made them for me.
Put a Glock gen 3 trigger in mine with Ghost Inc springs, and it will not reset. Had to use the PSA hinged trigger which I hate.
If you changed the springs I’d verify they went in the correct way and then check again. If you messed with the connector as well I’d say press it in and if it lifts then push the cruciform forward and see if it resets. But if you changed springs I’d say it’s likely that. Or swap the trigger and run the factory spring? Let us know if you figure it out 👍
@@sellswords2318 I swapped the springs and connector. It’s strange the PSA trigger bar works fine with everything else being the same.
@@sellswords2318 I finally got it to work, but it took a lot of bending of the Glock cruciform and slide guides. The Dagger slide must ride higher than a Glock.
Wow. It was very casual presentation. Though you know what you are doing the explanation was a bit casual 😢.
It’s just 3 little pins, bud!
Stock dagger trigger is 100% better than stock Glock trigger tough?
Hellll nah.
It's sure is
i see you have an anti theft multibit screwdriver... i love mine
Yeah, man. I’m an elevator guy by day and most of our panels have tamper-proof hardware in them so that little guy gets me into most places. Good eye!
@@sellswords2318 used mine for tamper and flow switchs on fire protection switches.
Not sure I'd say a stock Glock trigger is better than a stock PSA Dagger trigger. They both aren't that great. :)
Timney Alpha trigger to the rescue!
Why ?
I tried putting a Shadow Sytems trigger from my DR920P in my Dagger and the trigger bar blocks the magazine from feeding wtf ?
Yes, Shadow System & PSA Dagger parts do not like each other. (NOT cross compatible)
I’ll be like #800
Um dude forgot to put the pin back into the front of the locking block you can clearly see the light go through the hole
Yes, that’s exactly what happened. It’s not that it’s a roll pin which is hollow which you can see daylight through at all.
@@sellswords2318 what an odd thing to say and claim because if you back up the video as you take out the pins they weren't hollow.... All pins were solid
@@joesmith201212 I assume you own a Dagger if you’re watching this video? Go look at your Dagger. It has 3 pins. Two of them are hollow roll pins. The largest one is a solid pin. No need to argue with the facts; go look at your Dagger.
@@sellswords2318 no I own a Glock yeah never seen a hollow pin before so yeah seems really odd and wouldn't a hollow pin make it impossible to push out because any tool would just penetrate it and wouldn't a hollow pin make it much weaker than a solid metal pin?
@@sellswords2318 and why did you assume I own a dagger? I was looking up videos on how to do an Apex trigger upgrade.
That dagger trigger is awful... cannot stand it
Yep. It's modelled after the S&W trigger.
Dagger trigger is better than Glock trigger
Cool opinion, I guess? The point of the video is to show that any gen 3 trigger for Glock will fit the Dagger.
Glock trigger better....Nah!
Stock glock trigger sucks the stock dagger is better
Center hinge triggers are trash but thanks for sharing your opinion.
So the Dagger is based on g_l_o_c_k gen 3 but not exactly
Pretty much.
I really wish you showed us the re-assembly 😢 so close to a perfect video
I tried to keep it short. I’m sure you figured out reversing the steps. Thanks for the watch
