Thanks for this video! it will help me in the near future. I want to put some gold pins, take down pin gold slide release, gold back plate and trigger shoe. I think it will set it off. Will the pins work out? Ive heard something about the older gen of daggers.
I heard the pins were walking out before, is that what you’re referring to? Not sure if the older Daggers had regular pins but being that they’re roll-pins now means the tension applied by the roll-pin trying to open keeps them seated firmly in place.
@@sellswords2318 yeah. I looked into it further they use proprietary pins. If you try to use the oem glock pins I heard they fall all the way through to the other side. Do you know if slide releases can be swapped with no problem? I've heard mixed reviews on that.
Awesome video brother!! Very “to the point” and no bullshit stories to fill time unnecessarily. I’m going to pull my daggers apart and polish the triggers now, best dagger trigger tutorial on the web, nice job!!👍👍 You helped me immensely!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
In a few videos I watched the trigger pin came with almost no difficulty. In my case we tried for over 3 hours and 2 people, one pushing or gently tapping with a punch while the other wiggled the slide lever or pushed down on the spring. Still no go! The 2 roll pins were a bit hard to remove but eventually they came out with some persuasion. I'm about to use a bigger hammer and break something just because it might feel good. LOL
@@jeffm42o After a few tries I managed to get it off. Then I had to do it again and it was easier; after a few more time removing that darn pin it became easier. I guess it just needs to be broken in, Don't give up and try again, without forcing, until it gives - which it will eventually! No amount of force will help! Just keep playing with it...
Awesome explanation but couldn't you just use the whole trigger housing to put in the Dagger instead of transplanting the Glock trigger bar into the Dagger backend?
It’s a bit tough to line it all up. That wire is the spring that returns it. I recommend you drop the slide release into place first, make sure it’s close to center of the hole and then drop the locking block over it. You’ll have to put pressure down on the locking block to “compress” the spring (weird wire thing). Then run a punch through the other side of the gun to capture all of the components. Then just follow the punch back through with the corresponding pin. Hope this helps. 👍
