That train car looks so much better when it's sitting on the tracks. Great job.
Oh my god.. the train carrrrrr 😩 I’ve needed that for so long 😮💨
That stacked build at the end was super cool. Liked the train car too. Good video. Thank you!
Praise and validation
🤣🤣🤣
This is fantastic. I don't usually comment on vids because I watch too many and nobody is going to read my nonsense anyway, but this trick inspired me to build something. I haven't built in quite some time now. So thank you for sharing this new technique. 💙💛
I'm so glad it inspired you! Happy building 😊
Great tutorial! Fixing FO76 one vid at a time! Thanks Kiki!
Absolutely amazing! Time to build my trailer trash park properly. Thank you
Yet more great ideas from one of your wonderful videos! Thanks Kiki B. 😸
Sinking the bases and the junk tower alone are superb additions to a builders toolkit
praise and validation
pretty sick... still trying to stick one up in a power pylon camp with no ground...
Love the monorail tower build. Reminds me of the old FO4 days.
Thank you sooooooooooo much for this!
Thank you! I can't wait to try and fit the mega mansion on top of my building! Would give it a wasteland tower vibe perfectly
Nice one Kiki B!! You’ve just solved one of my problems! Thanks for sharing this 😁👍🏻
Thanks for this. The train car on the tracks looks really nice.
KIKI!!!!! HELP ME TO SOMEHOW FLOAT THE NEW GIANT MANSION!!!
Lol I’ve been trying for days
the car gate, kiki, the car gate! :D
I still can't make it work 😒 I had it doing what I wanted the first day, and after that, it won't cooperate.
Thanks for the shout out! I discovered the technique after a friend asked in group chat if anyone knew how to set the stalls on foundations. Great to see you applied the technique to other possible pre-fabs. The mausoleum underground is a fantastic idea! I have a friend who would love to do that. Thanks again and happy building!
Thanks for sharing the technique!
Oh Kiki you have me filled with ideas now 🤩
Great tutorial. I shared it on a couple fallout community pages. You deserve more subs and views. . Great stuff as always. Thank you
Thanks so much, i really appreciate you sharing it!
Thank you for a great tutorial! 🙂
Me and my husband will definitely try it out. 😀
This also works with the enormous brotherhood of steel watchtower
That ending is sick. I've gotta attempt it now
Definitely need to have a play with this❤
KiKi you are great!
The door! 🥤🤪 Brilliant! Thank you for all you do.
Thanks!
very fun and thank you for showing us! May I request another build guide where you stack a few prefabs? Similar to how to showed us the Crimson Prospect inspired stack
Glad you enjoyed it, I'll see what I can do!
I appreciate you SO much
Oh man... Super excited to watch this! ...And I gotta wait 6 hours! 😅
Yeah Kiki, if you can do a tutorial on that stacked build at the end I would be eternally grateful ------- even better, I'll become a Patreon or something along those lines! lol - you're the only UA-camr whose build I folllowed - I still have the CAMP (the dam by Harpers Ferry, such a cool build!)
That build was an absolute nightmare to do the first time, but that was mostly because I really had no idea where I was going with it 😅 Might not be too bad to recreate now that I know what it's going to be? I'll see if I can manage it.
@@kikibplays That would be soooo ....rad!
Your my fav you made my crappy day better with a new vid yay
That's the sweetest thing ever, thank you 🥰
That is cool.
Great video. Always wonderered if there was a way to sink some of these prefabs low enough to hide the ugly foundations. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely going to try this! I've been trying and failing to get the Wavy Willard water slide to be partially underground to use the slide as the entrance.
I hate to be the one to break your heart, but it doesn't work with the water slide 😭 As someone who's desperately wanted to build an underground bunker with a water slide for AGES, I am very sad about it. It only works with the ones I've listed in the video (there are 9 or 10)
WE ALL FLOAT DOWN HERE! WE ALLLLLLLLL FLOAT!
**coughs** Sorry, had a little clown in my throat...
🤣🤣🤣
I used to make a floating Brotherhood Recon tower by having them snap to a staircase, I'll have to see if doing it this way works so I can make it neater!
That's literally the only prefab I don't own, so I couldn't try that one. It doesn't work with the Charleston fire department one though, and that's a reskin of the BoS tower. Let me know if you get it working!
@@kikibplays I can confirm that this does work for the Brotherhood Scouting tower, but sadly does not work for the BOS Armory, or the Brotherhood Field Station.
Sadly floors will not clip with the tower, but roof tiles will do so happily!
Great to know, thanks!
haven't found a way to put doors into pre existing door frames in game, and have had no luck finding videos on how to do it, it would be interesting to find a way to do it, many good build good be made into perfect builds, this sorta does that with having the door floating to snap the prefab to but how to wiggle it into door frames is the question
You could try the anywhere wall/catwalk trick and see if you can get a doorframe aligned with the existing doorway that way. No idea if it would work.
Can’t switch walls to windowed wall
Where’s your circular treehouse build video? Got my tree picked out and everything.
Working on it 🙃 Make sure you've got one of the catwalk sets, too.
Sooo if I use the temporary permanent rug trick to get way up in the air and then build a blueprint of a door wall combo on a conduit can I do this to put the new giant prefab above whitespring?
I don't think the new prefab snaps to a door, but if it did, you could.
Hello do you know if you could possibly clip walls into a surrounding rock face? When fixing to a camp wall.
You can't anymore, sadly. There may be a few exceptions still, but I wouldn't know what or where.
@@kikibplays Thanks for answering
I know this is an old video, but does this trick work with the Flying Fortress?
Off the top of my head, I don't think so. I tested every prefab that was out at the time, so if the flying fortress wasn't included, then it doesn't work.
So, does this mean I can now get prefabs UNDERGROUND?!!
You can, but only those 9 or however many it was.
@kikibplays I tried getting this to work but I think it may have been patched? it won't let me place the structures saying they're floating. Are there any other ways of doing this?
Last I checked a week or two ago it still worked. Make sure you're using one of the ones it does work with. Not all of them can float.
Hey KikiB! Do you by chance know if this is possible still? I tried doing this inside my Mine Shelter, and it simply deletes the doors when I remove the floors. Is this a trait of building inside shelters or did the floating trick just get overall patched out with this latest patch?
This was patched out on Tuesday with the latest update, but I've been hard at work on a new floating door hack all week and that video will be coming out later today. In a shelter, however, you can simply place a door in midair and snap a prefab to it because of the relaxed build rules - no tricks necessary.
Would you happen to know any other method of making the nuka cola crates sit on foundations? I have a pylon tower build and this HAS to go in it. Driving myself nuts trying to figure this out myself
You can 'place' them on foundations with this door trick - float the crate where you want the foundation to go, then break the crate with the flamer trap. Then you'll be able to set a foundation next to the crate and use that to snap another one under it. Repair the crate and you're done.
