This is going to sound weird but these 00's era songs from A&B, Oceanlab, and the Anjunabeats compilations really make me feel closer to the natural world. I'm a bit of an astronomy nerd and I associate these songs (especially Anjunabeats Vol 7) with science and astronomy. Setting up the telescope, watching the sun set and waiting for the stars to come out while listening to A&B is such a great experience. This song "Home" is a fantastic song that really takes me to another place.

The sad & lonely thing about listening to trance is that not a lot of people irl & around me listen to trance, especially not in the way I get lost in it.

Every single piece was very well thought of in terms of its bass, melodies, vocals and progression. They've truly showed to the world how electronic music can achieve such a classy high level! Unfortunately, most of todays pop electronic music is disturbing. This is spiritual and therapeutic!

Cameron Bosch Yeah, they're balls deep in the quasi-EDM scene now. They sort of have a foot in both the EDM and 'traditional' camps but they've alienated those that prefer more organic-sounding music and a bit of tempo. Sub-labels have happened (Lane 8, Dusky and Seven Lions all have their own now) but it's very unlikely there will be one for uplifting/138 or whatever. Beats is getting ever-deeper these days anyway. Once A&B release a progressive house track the whole label will follow. I think this will happen in due course.
Definitely one of their best tracks (A&B or Oceanlab included). Still No One On Earth is still my favorite of all time from them. Something so special about this track.. 😅
