    Your sister is lucky to have a brother who looks out for her and can do those things. We need to get back to families looking out for each other like that in America. Thank you for the video! It was very helpful!

    You could teach how to make a quality video. Excellent step by step and to the point. One of the best I've seen .

    Good video. This is why I plan to buy a loaded knuckle and just replace the whole assembly rather than mess with the press. I've heard that sometimes you need a torch because the old bearing just won't come out!

    Good video. Just don't forget the correct torque for every nut, they can not be too tight or too loose.

      Real mechanics go by feel and wrench size. Torque people end up breaking and stretching bolts.

    Good video Daniel. It was very informative. Thank you for sharing! I don't have a friend with a bearing press so I will have to take it to my CX-9 to my mechanic who will change my hub and bearing for $220 including the parts.

    Thank you for sharing this, its encouraging to see the entire process doing it yourself. This bearing look very bad, car was in danger if it was driven more.

    It’s so hard to use the press from autozone to get the old one out, I gave up and took the hub assembly to the shop to have it pressed out.

    The torque spec for the axle nut is 175-202 ft lbs. there’s no way he got that kind of torque on the nut with his channel locks. I would be very afraid to drive that vehicle..

    • @bentorres925
      @bentorres925 4 роки тому

      That’s what I was wondering I saw that torque spec. So the original was loose enough to take off with channel locks?

    How do you get the lower ball joint into the hub? I tried but even after forcing with a sledge hammer and trying to open the hub cut slot, I still couldn't

    man, you rock! awesome video, exactly what I needed.
    One question left in my mind is alignment... do you need one after all of this?

    • @RescueMoversDFW
      @RescueMoversDFW  6 років тому

      maximua78 thank u for your comment, no aligment necesary

    • @nairenrut759
      @nairenrut759 6 років тому +1

      Anytime you separate a chassis part, you should get an alignment

    • @ericf1966
      @ericf1966 3 роки тому

      Pretty sure the only alignment spec that's adjustable on that strut front suspension is toe in, which shouldn't be impacted much by the work done. Although an alignment isn't a bad idea to potentially save your tires, especially given how loose this one was.

    What type of CX7? FWD, AWD, or 4X4? and what is nut size for CV but, also want more followers then put the tools used along with socket sizes, easy peasy.
