    As a child I really enjoyed the Will Hay films and his chums Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt. They still entertain me. I think this is a wonderful tribute to Moore Marriott.

    It's a pity these films no longer make mainstream TV anymore.

      They're occasionally shown on Talking Pictures TV but rarely on mainstream channels

      Please keep an eye on the Talking pictures tv schedules, there are a wide variety of films from not only this era but with these very actors. They're a true joy to sit and watch and you would definitely not be "wasting your time "😊

    This Actor has fascinated me since I was a small boy. I'm 65 now and love him more than ever. A great actor and a great comic actor too. A true icon of British Cinema.

    Thank You, at 60 years young, I used to love the Will Hay movies as young boy, even in my late teens. The trio were perfectly matched.
    I even try to record them if they are on today.

    This is wonderful - to be honest I think MM was a bit of an underrated comic genius, this has made my week knowing there are people out there wanting to keep his flame burning. You should be very proud of what you have done - Bravo

    We met up with Tom Marshall at a Model Railway Exhibition in the Spring and he sold us a signal box.
    Not just a Signal Box but the one modelled on Buggleskelly of course.
    Tom makes superb models based on the great films we all grew up on.
    Thank you for a super tribute. David and Lily. Reading or reeding, "cissester Sir"

    I am 59 and I miss these old films and actors, I don't think today's standard is as good, a lot learned their craft from music halls, were now people want fame straight away, but don't have the class and they all look plastic😢

    you've not mentioned Will Hay as an astronomer who discovered a geological feature on Saturn, then again we are talking about Marriot, he was in fact a romantic hero in his early films.

    pity the great man's family were'nt allowed to say something-and why so much on Eric Morecambe

    • @BuggleskellyStation
      @BuggleskellyStation  4 місяці тому

      "weren't allowed"? That's quite an insulting and ignorant comment, really considering they were invited to speak, and in fact, his Grandson spoke but decided he'd rather not be on camera. Regarding the focus on Eric Morecambe, the second part of the film is an interview with Bob Golding (as clearly stated in the video description). He's played Eric Morecambe on stage and screen for the past 20 years.
