It is amazing to me how he found a plaid shirt that so completely complements his eyebrows, his complexion, his glasses, beard, … just SO put together!
He's also incredible in The Boat that Rocked.... or Pirate Radio is the other name... The Talented Mr Ripley is another favourite.. And of course boogie nights...My 3 Favourites!
Philip Seymour Hoffman and Heath Ledger were my favorite... the first film I saw of his was LOve Liza .. and the rest just were amazing.. I miss them both soo much
Damn it..I watched this fellow in Capote the other day and was totally absorbed in the character of Capote..first time I had noticed this actor and now I find out he;s dead. :( seemed so cool
I will always regret not seeing PSH in Death of a Salesman. Because of this, I go to shows I want to see; life is too short to wait for another opportunity that may not come.
I was devastated by his death, and so happy watching his son Cooper,in "Licorice Pizza".The legacy lives on.The only other actor whose death just felt like a punch in the gut,was Anton Yelton.I believe his talent was pretty equal to PSH And he was so young, who knows what he would have accomplished. I miss seeing them both.Though of course I most likely would have never met either actor ,one does get attached and it hurts when they are gone ,so young,so much talent and charisma and presence .Rest in the arms of Jesus my guys❤
What a sad scene with the therapist nor listening or respecting him at all. That is so typical in the therapist experience also. They don’t give a shit about any of us.
keflar5 I know, I know... Over dramatic. But this man was - and is - a hero of mine. His movie posters are on my walls. I've even got the random stuff he did like that episode of Arthur. His surprise downfall was the wake-up call I needed to save myself from an early grave too. So yeah, I wish I could have seen him talk in person, and if possible have thanked him for how much his work has given me.
Great interview but the interviewer's terminology when describing some of the gay roles he played is really offensive - describing Truman Capote's voice as 'bizarre' and 'a way of getting attention' and then simplifying PSH's role in 'Flawless' as a 'drag queen' really shows up her limited heteronormative interpretations of the person/character(s) he has played
So much emotion in his performances. I’m forever sad about his early passing ❤
It's why he's my favorite actor of all time. Just tremendously talented. Will always be devastated he's no longer here.
Best actor of all time
I agree
Philip, Joaquin, DDL. My acting Mount Rushmore.
I m going to miss this man. His deep affection for human condition was the fuel behind his amazing performances.
No other actor dying has hit me harder, both for his talent and his likeable personality.
i realize it is pretty randomly asking but do anybody know a good site to watch new movies online?
@Ayaan Travis I watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it =)
Only one that was bigger for me was Robin Williams. 🥲
I miss this dude.
So do I
Ditto
Sometimes I forget he's gone :( he was amazing, rest in peace 💕
Daniela D'Amico ^^^

I cried at the news that he passed, He was so Talented .
My Favorite Actor .I've seen most of his work.
So down to earth and unaffected. So easy to be around it seems. Loved him.
One of our greatest losses
We all will die someday. Celebrate his life and study up so you learn and can share the wisdom

Such a good actor
For those interested in his great acting roles not mentioned: The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, Almost Famous, Love Liza, Punch-Drunk Love, The Master.
Before the Devil knows your dead (with Ethan Hawke 2007) ... and Flawless (with DeNiro 1999). Both excellent movies.
He also played in twister
my0wnme777 He's also incredible in The Boat that Rocked.... or Pirate Radio is the other name... and The Talented Mr Ripley!
The Master is probably my favorite role by him.
@@Nautilus1972 He really shows how great he is in Before the Devil Knows You're Dead.

I regret often not seeing that play. I was right outside and could have. Haunts me I could have seen greatness.
Oh shit, he was there! Through it was a tribute.

Never realised how much he sounded like John Goodman
Probably because he doesn't?

IMHO he was the greatest after Brando. He really reveals his m o as an actor between 7:15 and 7:45 RIP Phil
He had some much more to do...
His young death was tragic. He was exceptional and could have played so many other roles brilliantly Michael Crenshaw.
One of my biggest regrets in life was failing to get tickets to this.

Everyone is an enigma...
He would have been great playing Steve Bannon
RIP
I do miss him. Sad he fell back into the addiction pit.
When doubt came out it was with such timing it could have been called device..
I thought the interviewer was Sonia Bridi.
And The Master?¿?¿?¿ Put some respect on that film, jesus...
