- The 2024 (MY2025) BMW M4 LCI has just been released, and this video is going to highlight the differences between the pre-LCI and LCI versions of the G82 M4.
It covers exterior and interior changes, as well as differences to options available and the pricing alterations between the pre-LCI and LCI versions.
In summary, it has new fang-style headlights, taillights from the CSL, the option to add a sunroof, a 20 hp power increase for xDrive variants, a new steering wheel design and an M Graphic that can be added to the hood and trunk.

Good work mate, I have the G82 and the thing I miss the most about the LCI is the new Infotainment screens I prefer my older laser lights

Now let’s look at the price. It’s a lot more for the exact same now. Go and see for yourself on the configurator. The Ultimate Pack doesn’t include the carbon buckets, so the cost gets to over £100k really fast. At that price you might as well buy the M4 CSL. These prices are insane 😂
Old headlights with laser is better
Front headlights look cheap, seems like a downgrade
The new 2025 front headlights are LEDs because of cost savings unfortunately. They are much cheaper compared to the expensive laser headlights and are an overall downgrade.
All those increases in price ...
I have an actual offer for the m3 model. I think the relative changes to come + the up in price for same options is not a good thing for future owner...
I agree, this is why I ended up buying a low mileage pre-LCI with the Ultimate Pack. I was expecting an inflation based increase, but nowhere near what they have decided to charge for options, which in some cases, don’t appear to have any justification.
@@SwiftDevelopments I think you took the right décision. I am now even considering buying something else than the M3 Competition due to this. Another car, with same power, able to bring me joy, at a less expensive Price !

@@SwiftDevelopments Alfa Romeo Giulia quadrifoglio. Maybe last year for this V6 520 HP.
Those are good looking cars, my only concern would be reliability (based on what I’ve seen from mainstream reviewers). If you’re getting new or nearly new, then at least you have warranty to fall back on if something does go wrong.
Old is wayyy better not even dabatable
I drive a a G82 and think the LCI is a failure. Not failure as in a bad car, but failure as in bad decisions. The iconic angel eyes are now gone and are replaced by two sticks. The taillights are now the same as on the CSL. I mean that's actually sick, but it makes the CSL not as special anymore and the special feeling about them will be lost. F for those who bought them for 6k online. Last but not least, the obnoxious infotainment screen. You dont just put a idk what 24" curved screen in a damn racecar. That old embedded screen was way cooler and more fitting. Overall I consider this as one of the worst LCI's so far.
Screen was present from july 2023 as idrive 8 , this LCI is getting same screen just idrive 8.5
@@davidzvezda That's correct, yet a bad decision. It looks so weird in this kind of cars. Even for the regular embedded screen, analog gauges would have been the way to go!

I agree. There are design elements within them that I like, however when compared to the pre-LCI laser lights they look like a downgrade. Obviously I’m not biased since buying an M4 with laser lights after making this video! 😂
