You are right on the mark. Everything you are saying can be applied to how we respond to everything in our lives. If a person walks back to their true identity, they will remove suffering in their life

Have to agree that one of the worst feelings in life is reaching your goals and realizing you are not any happier.

So true…, All of Creation is living in the Now. Except we Humans who are lost in our memories and dreams…

If you ever watched a dog chasing its' own tail, you might think that's silly,
but the dog knows his tail, it's just playing with it.
The same happens with our mind and thoughts.
The problem is when we identify with such thoughts, and we suffer.
Then we have a situation similar to schizophrenia.
That's the actual mental health situation of human kind.
When we try to share those thoughts of the present, the now etc.,
people at first glance will just don't understand,
then after not understanding, to protect themselves, they will ignore or make fun of it.
It's again, the dog chasing his own tail, in matters that people know what they're doing,
they just choose to play with life and circumstances,
and that because they believe they're what they're.
Normally, life teach us about impermanence, and deconstruct our illusions,
unfortunately when this happens, usually comes a feeling of sadness and suffering.
So every good experience has its suffering or negative aspect.
That's why most people and spiritual path choose to focus on the bright side,
they do that because that's the way they handle, or offer to handle life's experience.
It's better for mental health, even though it won't liberate you immediately from your delusions.
If people want to live that way, so be it, let them live in such schedules.
In the end, people are slaves of themselves, always seeking something,
projecting such happiness at every moment, like a teenager trying to find a match.
The question isn't about not worrying about something, but the way we worry about it.
If you simply give up thinking about something, you become stupid, and that's not the proper way to handle things.
It's like someone trying fix everything with silver tape.
If you know you're not the thoughts, for example, then you can handle them properly, as a tool.
In other words, you keep on exercising your critical thinking the same way you keep taking a shower or eating.
Everything is based on how we handle things, and how attached we are to those things, ideas, identity etc.
