05:24 "What gonna happen when Ciri meets her real dad?" In season 1 & 2 we saw that Gerald is her real father. The King and Queen of Centra asked Gerald what he wanted as payment. He said the Law of surprise and the princess got pregnant. The Princess married and raised her as their own. The King is Ciri's stepfather. In the last scene he burned the portrait of Ciri's mother but kept the pic of her, his stepdaughter.
Actually that's not correct, unless they officially change Ciri's lore for the show (which I think there is zero change given that they actually lay the foundations for her canon background and it's too important of a detail to change)... But no, the King, Emhyr, is Ciri's real father... He was the "hedgehog" Knight in season 1 and Ciri's mother and him got together and had Ciri... Pavetta was already pregnant with Ciri when Geralt jokingly claimed the Law of Surprise for "payment"... The princess (because Ciri's mother wasn't Queen) already got pregnant by the knight and they didn't know, that's why the Law of Surprise gave Geralt the right of "that what they have but they don't know"; but that doesn't mean that Geralt is Ciri's actual biological father, the law of surprise didn't make Pavetta magically pregnant, it just means that Geralt and Ciri are bound together by fate... But Ciri is the biological daughter of Pavetta (princess of Cintra) and "Duny", which was the alias that Emhyr was using at the time when he was actually the "fallen" heir to Nilfgaard... And that makes Ciri the heir to not one but 2 thrones.

@NiaMakiReacts Witcher 3 is one of my all-time favorite RPGs, that nailed immersion in its game world far better than any other type in the genre, even newer title's, despite the jank and glitches that still haven't been fixed, even in the next gen remaster. It made me love immersive RPGs and ruined them for me, too, because when I play anything like it, I expect the same level of dialogue choices, side quest options, story, and character's
I thought this was an excellent episode. I liked that when Ciri fights she's got a lot more skill, but she's not ridiculously good -- she's been training, obviously, but she's not superhuman.
As for Stregobor being able to heal Rience's hands, remember that his own hands are apparently magically created (as we saw in Season 2). Maybe he specializes in hand magic. 🙂

Stregobor is a piece of shit but they're not working for him I can spoil you if you want, who they're working for, tho it's revealed at the end of episode 5 who's puppeting them.
