Another great video Alan, all the best mate Tony
Hello Tony, believe it or not that was the very first film I ever did so I have a kind of fun this cuz I said never intended doing this. Thank you for watching Alan
Nice headstone.
“I wouldn't say I'm the greatest Manager of all time but I'm definitely in the top one”
Brian was a hero to my mum not only as a footballer but a manager, a truthful man with a heart of gold...
Thank you 🙏 Brian god bless 👏👏👏🇬🇧😊
another great video thanks
Very kind Dave, I'll try to keep improving.
Pity we haven't got managers like this now and a pity he's not leading England now
A fascinating man; such a shame his managerial career ended with Nottingham Forest being relegated and his retirement due to ill health. What he achieved at Nottingham Forest will probably never be repeated because the financial side of football has changed so much. Somewhere on UA-cam there's a documentary on Clough at Derby County before they won the league title. Knowing what Clough went on to achieve, it's fascinating watching him at the top of his game.
very good
Cheers buddy
Very enjoyable and interesting video. Thank you for sharing.
Interesting - but disappointed you didn’t pan onto the head plate. It would have been interesting to read exact inscription.
Looking forward to your best visit!😉
One of my next locations. Thanks for sharing this 💙.
Nice if you want the location let me know its a big Cemetery
Thanks for this and I didn't realize that 'old Cloughie' had been gone this long. I'm not a footie/Forest fan but I did meet Brian in West Bridgford, on Central Avenue Nottingham several years ago, and his other son, (not Nigel?) owns a paper shop in the area. There's a statue of BC in Nottingham just off the Market Square, which looks like he's clapping his team. I can't remember if Barbara was there for the unveiling.
Great player 👏I
Brian Howard Clough ledgend and genius beautiful man he was a lovely guy and he should have been honoured and England captain absolutely million percent kisse and hegs xx
💯 LEGEND
He was buried in his beloved Derby .rip
Peter Taylor and Gordon Guthrie to 👍😁
Hi Alan. Thanks for doing these videos. I enjoy your presentational and educational style. I always find myself amazed thinking that as much as these guys all had amazing lives, that when you show their gravestone they are just as normal as you and i. Thanks again and keep up the good work
Hello Peter, Thank you very much. I just tried to make them interesting and get the facts right. But I do love celebrating their life. Take care, Alan
I just found your channel...What a fabulous idea...visiting celebrities' final resting places and getting there by motorhome! Thank you for all you do... from Peterborough, Ontario, Canada!
Hi Kris it interesting and fun you could start at you end of the world :-) Best Alan
There's a statue honouring hm in Albert Park Middlesbrough were he was born and played early in his career. He is remembered fondly here.
Well said.
Top man 👨 and footballer⚽️ . Yvonne
Rest in peace
Wow, I can't believe you were only 15 mins away from where I am.
What's a shame? Andrea, see you one day. All the best Alan
Best manager of all time end off mate
True
Hi Alan never knew Brian Clough had passed away.
Thank you for posting this.
2:53 It's an usual headstone.
Do you know if Clough is buried here or if it's his ashes that are buried there instead?
A view from the UK. How ironic that i posted not 2 days ago on your video of Billy Bremner's grave and, low and behold i, a couple of videos on and i watch this. To emphasise my point on Bremners post listen to what Brian says about Revie at 2,12mins in. What he is diplomatically trying not to say is EXACTLY what i said on Bremner's. 'Kick 'em off the park' football was Revie. Brian's downfall was his arrogant, imperious personality. If you need lessons in how NOT to win friends and influence people read Brian Clough's book; Tips on successful Man Management. Won't take you long t'ain't very thick. He succumbed to that demanding mistress alcohol.
Rip ❤ thankyou alan ❤❤
Look after yourself. Paul
I am enjoying this sseries. If you want a suggestion, Sir John Mills who is buried in Denham church, next to the house he lived in for a lot of his life. His wife Mary is also buried with him. He is only a few metres from my grandparents. Also in the same churchyard is the burial place of 6 people murdered in Denham (the Marshall family). Famous case as it was at the time the biggest mass murder in England at the time. 7 members killed at their house in Cheapside Lane. You could get two stories with one visit.
I think the grave of John Bonham of Led Zeppelin would be a good video.
He's buried at Cutnal Green in Droitwich Worcestershire. It's a significant and stunningly beautiful spot as it's less than 1/2 a mile from the watering hole of the band which in the seventies was a lot less posh than today. Robert plant still calls in now and then. On a sunny day there are lots of people who visit from all over the world and you can sign a remembrance book which is keep in the church which is beautiful.
John Bonham is buried at St Michael’s Church, Church Hill, Rushock, Worcestershire. Well he was the last two times I visited. Brilliant Drummer
Just come cross your UA-cam channel sir, I AM a Nottingham forest fan I meet old big head when he come too Nottingham too the book shop and sight my book wonderful memories too take through my life I was a young man only 13 years old at the time
Thank you Callum. You take care mate. Alan
Another very modest grave. I don’t know why a well known figure’s very modest gravestone or memorial surprises me but some led quite an ostentacious life so I suppose I think a gravestone would be the same. Cluffy as my late hubby called him and whenever he saw him being interviewed my hubby would shake his head as if to say “oh Cluffy you shouldn’t have said that!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
He was the greatest football manager in my lifetime especially when he had Peter Taylor by his side
He made sense great man
I once had the fan in my cab who got punched on TV by Brian clough. He talked about it like it was the greatest day of his life😂😂😂😂
wonder why he punched him?
@@MotorHomeBeepBeep more of a slap. Clough got angry with pitch invaders
If he was given the job of England manager then England would of won the World Cup again and again I’m sure! He was a superb manager, but he wasn’t a yes man so never got the job, he was his own man and knew his job better than anyone at the time.
Only reason he was never England manager was because he wasn't a yes sir no sir man. Rip Brian clough
“ If you want to play for Nottingham forest young man, you will need to pull your socks up & adjust your attitude “
Brilliant Manager but too big headed his way or no way at all however let us forgive and allow Brian & his wife Rip
Should of been England manager 🤷he was very out spoken witch I liked.I’m a devoted LEEDS UNITED biggest mistake they made sacking him…
