- Spent some time at Connor Ward's place. Mowed a good majority of the lawn and applied Milorganite together to compare the Lesco 80lb spreader with Spyker's 80lb spreader.

I can tell you that a pile of Milo spilled from a spreader will in-fact burn and kill grass. The amount that Connor spilled over the top of the hopper is fine though.
Hey Jimmy, I’ve had a hard time getting a Spyker. First one came with box severely damaged, missing parts (Spyker sent new ones but still waiting on them). I think the rate gate must have been damaged during shipping as well because it completely broke within two minutes of using so I’m waiting to be able to return. I’m looking at that exact 80lb SS Lesco but my concern is how often that agitator/gate clogs up because of the smaller holes. Is this an issue? Thanks man!
Spyker has been really professional to deal with but they’re so far from me and local landscape supply companies use Lesco. Have parts in stock so now I’m leaning towards a Lesco but don’t want to deal with small holes clogging up on gate so wanted your take on it
Hey Ricky. Sorry you've had those issues. Both spreaders in this video are Connor's, so I don't have much experience other than what you're seeing filmed here. I will say though that in the near future I will have more info and experience with Spyker soon. From the little experience I have, I can tell you that both Lesco and Spyker make quality products. Both of the spreaders in this video are marketed as 80lb spreaders, but we learned that the Spyker held much more than the Lesco. Unfortunately I can't speak to the issues you've had or heard about though. Sorry.
Jimmy Lewis ok thanks for the reply. I’m still waiting on second Spyker to come in so hopefully it’ll be here sooner than later and everything works out. From your experience are the Spykers worth the money? And which one did you get?
You bet. Yes they are definitely worth the money. I went with the ergo pro 50lb model. From what I understand I think they are only sending shipments out a couple times a week right not because of the virus.

Jimmy, don’t think for a second yoour charity mow had anything to do with the state of Connors lawn carpet. The butter didn’t help either! Lol. And if he truest trusted you, he would have let you pour fuel into the reel mower while sitting on the lawn. Non burning Milo doesn’t count. Haha. Jk broseph, I’m subscribed to all you guys, learning to enjoy the mow AND poking a little fun here and there.

Is everyone mowing connor's lawn these days, this seems to be the trend this summer he must be lazy lately haha! What a beautiful area though, I love that area of the country.
