Pretty interesting. I didn't know about sea glass. It's bound to become more rare as people (hopefully) become more conscious about not dumping trash in the ocean.
Hi Mary, yes the lake glass gets frosted too (we've found some at lake Superior) but I believe it is all due to the tumbling action whereas the sea glass also has the chemical reaction contributing to the frost on it.

It is becoming more scarce as less is getting thrown into the ocean and more and more people are collecting it.

We have lake glass on the great lakes. It is also frosted and we are fresh water not salt water
