MCE CHANNEL Wow, I can't believe I didn't even realize who you were, even though I directly referenced your work in the video! I don't know how I managed to do that. I feel like a big dummy now, haha. Anyway, I love your work! Whenever I'm about to start an embroidery project I browse your website for inspiration :)
I never knew water soluable fabric existed! I need to make a buttload of identical appliqués for a costume I’m making and having the stencil like that will help soooo much
I love this idea! I fell for the embroidered/ applique trend this year, but I wanted to do something more unique than all of the floral designs I've been seeing. Thank you for your inspiring and informative video; I can't wait to try this technique! Also, your sweater looks fantastic on you : )
chezlin Is there somewhere I can share a photo of the project for you to see? It's not nearly as professional-looking as yours is, but I'm pretty pleased with it!
you just made my day! this is amazing, I'm gonna try some appliques tomorrow. I love doing appliques, and have never even heard of this method,. I love it!
Thanks! I think technically what I make in this video would be a patch. Since I made it on a piece of fabric that I then cut and sewed onto an article of clothing. If you just did the design straight onto the clothes then that would just be embroidery. I hope this made sense haha
Hi, I hope you can help me. I want to ask if you know with what I can replace water soluble fabric? Unfortunately there is no such a thing in my country and I haven't found where I can order it cheaply. Hope you know how I can solve this problem. Anyway, I'm very thankful for this video. Good luck. ;)
+Kseniya Mnykh I'm sorry, but I don't think there is something you can replace it with. You could maybe just skip it and just embroider straight onto the tulle. I suppose that could work! :)
Have you heard of anyone using a computer printer to print out the sketch rather than trying to do it freehand? I've always wondered if anyone has done this successfully.
Loved your video, thought it was very informative, and loved your embroideries.
All the best Michele Carragher.
Thanks for checking my video out! :D I'm glad you liked it :)
chezlin look him up, you just got props from a pro ;)
Lex Wilde Oh my gosh! I can't believe that went right over my head! I even mention her in the video! Wow!

+Sara G thank you!
Have you ever thought about using a frame and a stand? It makes it so much easier to do!
I totally didn't even think of that! I don't embroider much, but if I have another big project like this I'll totally look into getting one :) Thanks!
Have you heard of anyone using a computer printer to print out the sketch rather than trying to do it freehand? I've always wondered if anyone has done this successfully.
