For some reason, y'all didn't show up on my radar till tonight. I think UA-cam was hiding you from me. But I'm glad you finally did, better late than never. I am now subscribed. 👍
Thank you Sorry I have not had time to view your videos lately. So glad I watched this one. It's a reminder what to enjoy in life. Thank you again. ! Take Care!
Enjoying all your shows, especially this one. Talking about all the memories. When I was a child we had two TV's . One on top of the other. One had picture only the other had sound only. My dad brought them home and it was confusing when one TV was on a different channel. We kids were the channel changers. Both my wife and i are familiar with Black Jack gum.1953
I do enjoy y'alls comedy and music. I have been looking and looking for mulberry gum. And I ain't as old as dirt. Yet...😂 But I have seen Branson, Mo does have those juice wax bottles!😊 God bless y'all!!
Shucks just started to watch y'all and my better half called and told me, ya better come on to bed or you'll be meeting yourself getting up in the morning! Well haven't heard kerosene called coal oil for along time, some people think they are the same, but they are different, I'd tell ya, but I got to go to bed, goodnight y'all, Love ya videos, will catch on the daylite tomorrow, well, if I don't belly up tonight....
Actually, it would take four minutes for the train to pass through the tunnel. It's really a trick question. At two minutes, the engine would come out of the end of the tunnel but the rest of the train would still be in the tunnel so it would take two more minutes for the entire train to pass through the tunnel. That said, you guys are great! It's so refreshing to see just plain good humor and good music without all the politics and downright nastyness that seems to prevail everywhere these days. You guys are a treasure.
I just found you guys. I'll definitely be watching y'all. I loved Teaberry gum. I remember most of the things you mentioned. I remember getting horehound candy sticks from an old country general store. Barrels of apples, barrels of seed taters. And the huge hunks of bologna cut from a roll. The best thing was the fresh fried pig skins. You guys remind me of the glory days of Hee Haw. Thank you. I also earned to tell you my granddaddy got bitten by a black widow spider on the back of his hand. He used kerosene and salt. Never went to the doctor. It got nasty looking but it healed and left just a tiny scar.
I had a grandmother give me coal oil, whiskey and sugar for a cough. A bunch of us kids were coughing as we were there for Christmas. Silence after we were all given that concoction. Told my wife that story decades later and she laughed, "You all were afraid to cough after that."
Standing for the pledge of alliance before class in school..and coming home watching cartoons and Sky King. Climbing trees, shooting b.b. guns, bows and arrows, riding horses after school..taking a ride with family in the country...dad says...there is a crow, deer and fox...wonderful memories...thanks dad and mom. See you in Heaven. Thanks fellow morons. Snork ..lo.
'You two are finess and AWESOME!!! (( You guys ever hear of 'Booger Ray' from KY? He was once on Johnny Carson, The Tonight Show). Ahh, the life I was afraid to walk into.
my father told me that his cousin had a tape worm and his mom gave him a tablespoon of coil oil mixed with sugar . my father said that after his cousin took it he ran behind a tree and did his business.
coal tar, alcohol, opium, weed, ginseng and coca leaves and aspirin.. these items are more regulated than anything.i wonder why. because you'd never need a doctor.
