Nice specimen. You risked death climbing on milk crates for us, hats off to you! 😂 Quite a large collection in your yard. Are they for sale or strictly for your own enjoyment? I just started collecting cacti this spring when I was gifted my late aunt's 7' tall Cereus. I cut it in half and both are doing great. I now have 30 clay pots of various cacti. They were on my sunny patio for the summer and now inside on a set of shelves with a grow light for winter. Living in Pennsylvania, USA, we get cold, snowy, wet winters. Enjoying your channel!
Thanks haha it was worth the risk. Yea I am selling probably a quarter of them at the moment. Looking for the best genetics to breed. Yea the collection grows quick doesn't it haha. That's good you can bring them inside for winter.
@CurtsCactus yes, it grew fast! I was researching the Cereus type and care and before I knew it I was buying cacti online and at the big box stores. They are all doing great, thankfully. My first winter, so I have to experiment with the timer on grow light and water to allow them to go dormant over winter. Do you have a website to order from, do you ship to U.S. I'm all about supporting small business growers.
@@drew1637 no I don't have a website, can't actually ship overseas it's quite difficult. My insta is curtis_cacti. Your supporting me by watching my vids and commenting appreciate it!
Nice cactus. Thanks for showing us. Most my trichos are loving the NSW warm weather.
And I must ad that boultwood is the “BEST” graft stock too! Second to none.
Boultwood is a weird one in my garden. Similar to yours with the longer spines at the base
Bro be careful getting on that milk crate like that around all those spikey boys haha got me worried for ya 😂
