Great video. I just installed my 2-1-2 mid-pipe and Tab BAM sticks with Zombie baffles. I am getting my ECU back tomorrow from Lloydz. I can’t wait to fire my bike up. This video was so easy to follow and put your components on my Challenger.
I just ordered this from y’all, my wife informed me that y’all do a veteran discount I didn’t know that, wish I would have. I can’t wait for y’all to ship it to me and install it
Great video. Opinion question; to achieve a loud deep sound but not super loud, TAB pipes with Zombies (or 2.5" baffles) with OEM cat, or stock pipes with TAB cat conversion?
Honestly it depends on what you want to do. I would say not overly loud but deep and still dropping heat you could go 1.75" louvered with the cat delete or the 2.5" louvered with cat delete. So many combinations it is tough to say what is right for you, but you could always start with zombies and stock header and then decide from there. Worst case you purchase a set of replacement baffles.
Word to the wise. I couldn't get that gasket and clamp to budge and then I pulled what was like steel wool ribbon out of the gasket, ended up costing $100 from Indian to replace. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Only suggestion is for owners of the Limited models. They might want to remove the lower bag filler, where the antenna comes up through. If not you could end breaking it when wrestling with the muffler.
@@bradlozano2571 Tab makes both cat delete options, 2-1-2 & a 2-1. 2-1 has a dummy left pipe so you can mount the left dummy slip on but you would have to modify the stub pipe to make it a true 2-1
It is a stainless steel so yes, you could paint directly over the product with a high heat paint. Something like this would be a good option I would think. We haven't used this before, but here is the link. www.eastwood.com/satin-black-hi-temp-coating.html?SRCCODE=PLA00020&gclid=CjwKCAjwkJj6BRA-EiwA0ZVPVuApgwG8iZ_jjR-qhz2WXr-DcfGp4ecWeBd3bSYcpqWzrHrCUUBEFBoC8YEQAvD_BwE
To do a cat delete will need a tune, the tune will leave a footprint on the computer and likely void the warranty, so unfortunately the only way to keep the warranty would be to work with the dealer and stay within what they are comfortable with or look for an external 3rd party warranty that would cover modified bikes.
Dang, props to Indian for putting their cat in such an easy to remove location.
Agreed.
They knew we were going to rip that bitch off !!! LOL

Thank you for the feedback, glad it helped. Ride Safe.
Awesome!! I don't have this bike but I'm sure everyone who does will love this system you created. Yet another score by Tab!! :)
Thanks Dave!

Thank you very much.
Is there a gain or loss of hp and torque with the Tab cat delete?

sold!
Nice, would like to hear each of your muffler options with cat delete. I have a feeling the zombies would be VERY loud.😁
Coming out soon.
Same
It seems to me that removing the Cat you could then put a single muffler on and have 2 into 1 pipe????

2-1 Cat Delete just arrived. Installing now, stand by....😜
Awesome! Prepare to be loud, :)
If I replace the stock cat converter to a Tab cat delete do I need to make any adjustment to the bike or remapping?
Yes we do recommend that. See link below for details.

@@TABPerformance Thank you!
I’m surprised that catalytic converter was not welded in.
It's nice. Keeps the development time and the cost down for the riders.
Um I think mine is.
Disregard! Sounds amazing!!
They knew we were going to rip that bitch off !!! LOL
With the cat delete, which fuel programmer or flash tuner did you go with?
Indian Stage 1 flash for now. Dyno jet hasnt come out with a tuner yet but will soon.
Is a special tune needed for the cat delete?
Could you paint the cross over with high heat paint?

Yup, I painted the cat & I'll paint this mid-pie before I install.
Does it sound any different when you remove the cat?
The tone gets a hair deeper but it gets a whole lot louder.
is it safe to say that if i take my bike into the dealer i have to put my cat back in , FIRST because this will VOID the WARRANTY ??

Will this fail the emissions testing with the cat removed?
Yes
@@TABPerformance Awesome!! It sounds great. I will be adding it.
Do you guys make one for 2014 chief vintage
Yes, it is a full header though since the vintage don't have a mid pipe.

I no sound? This maybe the first no exhaust sound check.
Sorry that video is coming as well. Forgot we were waiting for stage one flash.
TAB Performance, Inc. you definitely got us with that one.
The Flash has been complete and now we are starting to film the sound comparison.
Now come out with a cat delete system for the rest of their bikes.
Nevermind... I see you do have such a system... the 2-1-2 headpipes.
Thanks for looking at our product, let us know if you have any questions.

Mine looks like the turbo clamp is welded on!!
Looks like you were able to figure it out. Let me know if not, but I think I saw a comment later on that it was not actually welded.
@@TABPerformance totally got it figured out. Just had to use some elbow grease. Thanks for filling up! By the way, it sounds fricking amazing!!
That good to hear, ride safe!
