It's funny, I was just thinking about GOW today. Ragnarok was a good game and Kratos got his big redemption arc and all, but I kinda miss the ruthless old rage beast Kratos and the power fantasy he represented. But will this DLC have an actual continuation of Kratos' story? Or will it just enough story to "explain" why he's fighting a bunch of monsters?
It's not like DLC is a required thing. No reason they can't just add this just because they want to. Plus, the previous game didn't even have DLC so i don't get your point
@carl_consumer.of.reality Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we've got something. It's just that rumors and a leak made it sound like the studio was working on something that is/was only partially done. Like something massive, like maybe a half sequel was going to be coming. This DLC doesn't seem like that's what was rumored. If this is all we get, that's great. But it wouldn't surprise me if there is more to come from God of War soon.
