@yemail5555 Korea has a problem with the double. Oh is not very mobile and Joo is not really suitable for doubles. Against China they want Ryu to play 2 singles matches, so he can't play doubles. If Ryu and Kim would have played doubles, Oh or Joo would have had to play 2 singles matches, which is a bit suicidal against China. They would have hoped for Oh to win his single and Ryu win a single as well and maybe. That would bring them close to victory.
@WallE2512 That is true but it is not fair to judge from the results against Chinese players. You can call any player bad if you do that. Ryu is one of the few non-Chinese players they have trouble against ;)
Oh did not play well at all. He made a lot of errors. Korean should have paired Kim with Ryu. China has too many choices, maybe Xu Xin paired with Ma Long/Zhang Jike is not a bad idea, because of left hand/right hand pairs has some advantage, like 2:35, Ma long's view was block by Wang Hao.
