  • Join Mike, Kellie, and me as we use a shaker box to sift through the dug tailings of an 1880s tabby foundation for small relics. This is our second exploration of the site, which we believe was a storage and manufacturing facility for either beer or wine.
Several .45-70 Govt. rifle casings are recovered which gives me the excuse to talk about this iconic cartridge and show how an original .45-70 Govt. Trapdoor rifle shoots. Great fun!
As always, thank you for watching…Bob H. Lee.

Thanks, Ricardo…I think you’re one of the few people who liked this video. It does not have as much meat on the bones as say, the one I posted last night…old cokes & Nehi sodas. The bottle was not lettered and likely was a pickle. That’s all you can do is guess. Thanks for watching.

Hood's Sarsa Parilla....or Sarsaparilla bottle. It's a hefty thing, and I guess common among diggers, but I love mine! See you in 2 weeks...have fun!

@@relicrescueusa3803 I understand, I'm still learning and it's so interesting! Glad to lend a hand. The bottles from the 1800's to 1940's have so much detail and beauty.

Hi Chris, thanks for watching. The tabby foundation is located in Satsuma, Florida. It’s on property owned by the Log Cabin Farm and Vineyard. They’re on Facebook.
