Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE) needed this funding for so many reasons. Cleveland is on the rise so it is necessary that the airport upgrades expands and modernizes its facilities and services to keep attracting passengers.
Is it feasible to move the airport out further from the city? That way we can limit air traffic over the city and increase The Rocky River Reservation immensely. Starting out with a fresh airport would be cheaper and allow us to put it in a better location. And some of the money could be used to extend a light rail like to wherever the airport ends up.
