Excellent champ. Keep them rolling out. The interviews are top value. Interested to know why the 'colourful' lady was not so keen on Thailand even though she said she liked Kanchanaburi and Chiang Mai as she didn't expand on the reasons. Great work and cheers champ 🍻🤩
Thanks Steven. I think she does she why Thailand is so popular but maybe the south is not her cup of tea. She told me off camera that her dad worked on the Burma railway so I think Kanchanaburi is a special place for her anyway. And haha Chiang Mai, it’s hard not to love in my opinion 😝 thanks again Steven! Have a great weekend
All good views my friend - I agree that countries less developed offer amazing experiences like Laos & Cambodia . A vote also for Hua Hin 🤩 which of course is a fave of mine & where I will be for the next 10 days - Thanks as always my friend ✔️👌🎅👍🙏
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Hua Hin, so glad you enjoy it there. 🙏 how’s the weather like down there? Here in Chiang Mai it is cold! :p but the sun is shining
@@Chai_Travel Hello my friend - the weather right now is beautiful 28c - around 19c at night which local people say is cool - heading to Isaan for a wedding on January 5 then not sure - I will stay in Thailand til Feb 15 🤩🎅✔️🙏
Indonesia is so Beautiful, but also a Very Big Country. It is always difficult to choose where to go. And Ubud is so Famous, that many people choose that place , because that’s easy to choose. But there is so much more to see and a LOT of Islands. 🙏
That’s so much to see indeed! I think it’s the convenience of having good food and bars, affordable flights towards Bali. Hopefully people get to see a bit more of Indonesia than just Bali. Have a great weekend Gert!
Ive only been to Indonesia (20)and Thailand.(2).I honestly love them both..I think Indonesia is less under discovered maybe than Thailand but in some ways that also makes Thailand easier to travel in..
Thank you so much!! Hope you’re doing well too! Looks like maybe we can collaborate some day because you’re in the travel scene too! I love your work! ❤️🏆
in general i'd say if possible try to travel to "everywhere that we want and able to ". Another thing is why are we travelling ? the purpose differs from one to another. Travelling for work is not the same as for leisure and definitely not the same as for "soul searching" and looking for somewhere "we feel belong" I'd love to talk to you more @chai I've been to Bali ( don't remember how many times ) but always for business. That, plus being and introvert ( for lack of a better term ) i've stayed away from the crowds ( of tourists ) lol
35 years ago, after travelling there for 3 months, I was thinking of working in Indonesia because of the nature, vastness and cultural variety within the country but finally settled on Thailand as it was easier for an expat to get a job there back then. My work, based in Bangkok, Thailand was such that from 2008-16 I had to make monthly visits to places all over Cambodia and then from 2016 to 2022 to places all over Lao. I've also made a few tourist trips to Myanmar and Vietnam. My work has also brought me to the Philippines a few times.
Thailand is my fav SE Asian country. Lived there. Love Ubud, Hanoi, Bangkok, KL (during durian season) and Luang Prabang. Still need to visit Brunei, Philippines and Myanmar.
Haha I know it is! I'm a big fan of Thailand too! 😍 and I also can’t wait to go back to KL some time next year too. Hopefully I’ll be able to show Brunei in 2025 🤩 thanks again! Happy Sunday
Just returned from a 6 month journey of SEA , going back ASAP . Each country has it's good and bad sides. I'll have to start thinking about the ending questions in case we cross paths . P.S. A lot of the places i went were on your vlogs.
Many tourists only know bali, yogjakarta, but jawa is big island, not many tourists explore jawa island, , also Sumatra island, Kalimantan island, Sulawesi island, kei islands, Flores island, Papua island, and so many islands tourists can explore it, maybe it will need 2 years or more to explore it
Hi CHAI, stay champ a LAO guy here yeah my country is not fully developed like Thailand or Bali for tourist but yeah, I’m glad she likes through my homeland of LAos so yeah, I’ll go back one day. I was in know I was born there anyway stay champs would you do more content, LAos in the future
I feel like the most overlooked countries in southeast asia are Brunei and Timor Leste. It feels like people forget these 2 countries exist in SEA, even Chai.
Bali and Thailand definitely Will be never loses its appeals to western Countries standard because simple reason , its more lenient to factor like eating pork and chugging down beers or alcohol
The things that these tourist should know that Bali os only 0,000% of the whole Indonesia. Indonesia is the miniature of the world. As big as the whole of Europe. Almost everything that the world have, Indonesia have to. Even snow in Jaya Wijaya Mountain in Papua.

It is actually pretty handy for a westerner to know. When I left Ho Chi Minh for Siem Reap and after that Phnom Penh I kinda expected the same vibe. I was só wrong! You can indeed compare European countries and we do that very often actually. Especially because some countries are better than others. Depending on what you like - cleanliness, affordability, architecture, pace of living, culture, cost of living….. It is very important to know before you go to one of the European countries.
Indonesia juga belum banyak dijelajahi, banyak tempat yg lebih indah dari bali seperti raja Ampat, pulau komodo, pulau banggai, yg menjadi masalahnya cuman tiket pesawat nya, tapi knp semua hanya ke bali saja sampai menganggap itu negara😢😂😊
Southeast Asia is awesome ❤❤❤. I think Indonesia had a lot of things to offer.
I think so too! 😍
Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar are my favorites.
Thanks for sharing 😍

Bali dan thailand tempat terbaik untuk minum bir dan hiburan malam

New year resolution to go to Brunei in Timor Leste :) I’m already quite active in Cambodia ❤️

The lady from Australia did not have a completely Australian accent. I wonder if she has lived in other countries outside of Asia and Australia?
I think she lived a lot outside of Australia
Kenapa bule tidak suka berpegian ke filipina?
For me it’s the cost of flights.

Because of its geographical factor(isolated and calamity zone)and indifferent cultural background(much Westernized of all Asian countries)....
@@Chai_Travel Add to that its inconvenient transportation route and inefficient transportation system...
