You are an angel 👼and that can been seen through your beautiful eyes, so never take other's words to your heart. I love you dear and always Stay healthy and Happy 💜🤍❤😘
You are gorgeous sweet girl! 💞💖🦋🌺 My son has a spinal cord injury and spends a lot of his time in a wheelchair. People stare a lot. I bought a sticker that I put on his wheelchair that says "You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same" Basically this means if someone is different, they stand out and their gifted in some way. Why try to fit in when you were born to stand out? Never shrink yourself to make people feel more comfortable. It really is their issue, not yours. Shine your beautiful light pretty girl! 😍
I like that she don't pretend to agree with them. When she don't feel like it she says it. Honesty is a great thing. And also Bom and Kyojun handled this well. I'm proud of them.
I can say for certain, Bom and Kyojun will be wonderful, caring, and loving parents one day. Their thoughtfulness and kindness to this beautiful child are heartwarming, and their concern for her feelings was so sweet as was their advice to her about thoughtless people. Thank you for this video!
This was frikking adorable. Kyojun really felt those hateful comments. He's got an emotional side that we don't often see on videos, but he's clearly a very kind hearted guy. And Bom, she's so cute for the way she tries cheering the girl up, almost becoming her bestie! 👏
Timestamps! (if anyone needs them) 2:03 - "You're like an alien" 4:46 - "Your eyeballs... They're a disease, right?" 6:34 - (Going back and forth with their fingers in front of her eyes to see if she follows them) 8:09 - "Can i take a picture of your eyes?" This was honestly so sad. She is so strong for dealing with those comments, still so pretty! Fighting, little one!
come on koreans cannot be that weak its ridicules like just joke your way out say- yes im allies be scared of me or something like that or just say I was born like these its impossible to change
This was a very emotional video, you can see Bom and Kyojun fighting off the tears, with good reason. This is a very difficult topic and I think Bom and Kyojun handled it with the utmost care needed, great job you two. EVERY single person since the beginning of humanity is different, it's those differences that make each person special. This little lady is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and should embrace her difference, then if someone says something negative she can just say "I'm special and I and others love that about me," this will take all the power away from those that want to put her down for it, if they can't make her feel bad they are powerless.
Kyojun is phenomenal. What an incredible gent. I knew he was a Psychology graduate the minute I heard him speak on the very first video I watched on this channel (the video where they met a teen mom).
She is so adorable..❤️ There may be so many people around us to make us down simply cuz they are jealous.. She is gifted, and don't let anyone control your life doyeon, live your life happily, don't care what others say, doyeon you r a precious child😘.. You r the best.. Show them how special you are... Love u my angel
idk if its just me but she looks like she's about to cry and I legit started to tear up on that first question I don't think that person would've made it out ok if it was me lmao I would've started getting so mad and I wouldn't hide it either.
It’s at those ages when bullies focus on what makes you different from others. In my case it was red hair, freckles, and born with a right foot that turns outward. In my wife’s case it was her S curve scoliosis and having ears that stick out. She hid her pain with smiles and nervous laughter and I remained silent until I fought back. We didn’t meet until we were in our 30s. Those things that we were teased about helped to make us who we are today but they don’t define us. I imagine it must be harder being a student in southeast Asian countries where the majority of people have the same natural hair and eye color and are expected to fit in with everyone else. When I was in school we had people of many different skin types, hair color, hair shape, eye color, and we were all just trying to find our place in the world.
Kyojun seemed ready to fight someone for her because of the hurtful words. Bom seemed to give her advice on how to surround herself with positive people I love that too.
i genuinely don’t understand how her eyes are something to bully her for. not that bullying for any reason is valid, but…. they’re just a different color for f*cks sake. she’s a child. a beautiful child. period. people can be so disgusting. i admire bom for holding her emotions back, i would’ve lost it.
Kids without proper upbringing. Kyojun said it becomes obvious as one grows older if they dont “study”. I’ll add to that, it multiplies and gets worse with their kids.
This video has me feeling emotional. I think people are quick to judge others without knowing what they've been through or what they going through. She's so beautiful and I really hope that people are more considerate when talking to her. Our differences make us unique and being unique is something that shouldn't be considered as bad. At the end of the day she is a person just like you and I and she has feelings. I really hope that people consider her feelings before asking things or saying things that might make her feel bad about herself.
I agree with Kyojun, just like there are a lot of times adults say things that they think aren't a big deal for them but can leave deep scars to the child that's hearing those words at such a young age where he or she isn't capable enough to decipher the meaning behind those words and it stays with them till life. KINDLY BE CAREFUL OF WORDS YOU USE WHEN TALKING TO ANY CHILD BECAUSE IT STAYS WITH THEM FOREVER.
I think she is very pretty and no matter the eyes ,it makes her evn look prettier so as long as she's happy and healthy in her life that's wht it matters more ❤️
Why would someone say these things? Especially to a child? This hurts my heart. Doyeon, you are a beautiful little girl. NEVER let anyone tell you different. I love giggle and what they are doing for the world.
One in millions of people have this condition, and its so pretty to start with! You adore a husky with two different eye colours, why cant you with people? She is a child for goddamn sake!
I would give this instruction to everyone who has been lightly attacked, regardless of their age. When someone says or behaves disrespectfully, ask them this: * Before speaking, let your words go through these three doors: 1.- Is it necessary? 2.- Is it true? 3.- Is it good?*. This serves to mediate behaviors as well. Many, today, lack assertiveness, which implies: I say what I think, what I feel and what I expect from others, without trampling on their dignity (without disrespecting them). In my professional practice as a psychologist, I was in charge of a group of children who lived in an institution because their parents were on parole and could lose legal custody until they changed their lives. The fact is that these children, all very intelligent, with excellent performance and really cute, were exposed to the ridicule of their classmates telling them that they were a disgrace, that they were children without parents, that they should not be in their schools, that they did not have a home, etc. It was sad to see them confused and hurt by words that reminded them over and over again of a reality that they did not choose. So, I taught them to defend themselves with kind words, and it goes like this: When they say or do things that hurt or make you angry, tell them: "You already said/did what you wanted, are you happy now? If then, unlike you I'm happy to contribute to your happiness. And if what you do doesn't make you happy, I don't understand what your goal is." Obviously, the instruction included informing someone from the school about what was happening to them, when and in whose hands, because there is nothing worse than naturalizing abuse as part of the behavior in childhood or adolescence. Whether they were cared for at school or not, they had to inform their caregivers at the foster home. Thanks to this, there were a couple of occasions when I accompanied the caregiver to school to put things in their place and claim the corresponding responsibilities. No one comes into the world to be material to vent other people's frustrations.
Oh my goodness I just realized that she was the little girl on that one episode of KBS' Hello Counselor show!! There is a clip on KBS' channel, you can just look up "Hello Counselor heterochromia" if you're curious. I have watched almost every episode of that show, and in the last video I thought she looked familiar but just brushed it off. Now I remember it!! Her mother was concerned about her being treated differently by others, and she pointed out many of these similar rude questions or actions that were done to Doyeon when she was young. I am glad to see her growing up and doing well!! Honestly just based on her look any entertainment or modeling agency would be lucky to have her! She also doesn't take any BS which is awesome. Doyeon is amazing!! I wish her all the best for the future.
To be honest she has very mysterious and pretty eyes.If I look at this in a scientific perspective she has an advantage.Blue eyed people are in better position to see the n the dark than those with darker irises, and those that are brown eyed see better in bright areas than those with bright coloured irises. She can see better in both cases.🤯🤯She is amazing and pretty.💖💖💖
i often catch myself thinking how it would be great to be kid in this day and age.. when i was her age i was bullied for my eyes by both other kids and adults.. even teachers in my school would make stupid jokes not thinking that something extremely hurtful was being said.. things like alien, mutant, monster child and demon spawn were the most common words due to me being mixed raced (Thai-Mexican), intersex and having a heterochromia (olive green-sky blue).. when it came to my eyes it even came to the point where my parents would make me wear sunglasses everywhere cause they were afraid someone would try to hurt me... it's crazy to see that people now would go out of their way to look like us using colored contacts and going to surgeries but i guess any change in the world where certain people feel safer to live in is a good one...
She has "heterochromia Iridis" means one iris is a different color than the other. For example, you may have one blue eye and one brown eye. Segmental heterochromia (heterochromia iridium) means different parts of one iris are different colors is more genetically rather then illenes. Its not nothing serious is something biological.
I don't know .if someone said bad about me behind my back I don't know. Because no one said in front of me. By the way sometimes I love to make fun of me and even if someone comment me I was like yeah ...I am so stay far or something you would not want to fight me..uh can't tolerate me😂 If someone say I will laugh at them ..because of their poor education and manners
Sad to say the underlying problem is the not so well hidden racism in Asia. It exists more intensely in Japan and China, so so-called 'whites'/foreigners are noticed and treated differently even a Korean with a no more than a blue eye. Racism exists in all societies and we have to admit it and deal with it...
lol, odd-eyed is the proper common term for heterochromia. It has the same meaning like even numbers (2,4,6,8,...) and odd numbers (1,3,5,7...). It is not meant in the sense of "weird". You should know that, as an adult.
Giggle I don't know why you are giving these people who say these things air time it just encourages them to do it more. Get back to doing what the name of the channel suggest "GIGGLE"
THANK U~~~❤❤❤ :)

I am happy to see both of them being very polite and cautious while delivering the comments to that little adorable child . That's very sweet move 😊💜
