I’m from Texas, worked on Diesel engines in the oil field and I can damn sure tell y’all, y’all are damn sure Cowboys, and I would be sure enough proud to turn a wrench beside ya, Good Work Guys👍👍👍👍👍👍
In other words, you do all the right things to get it running and if they don't work you give it a hefty kick, or 3! Great job lads, really looking forward to seeing it run properly next time.
This takes me back. Many years ago I worked on a farm where we have a ARV a Antar and a Centurion tank. Used to take them to local shows. The sound of those engines was just amazing 😊
You all should get yourself a rolling gantry with a chain fall. You can use them to make tents over vehicles and save your back with stuff not worth dragging out the fork lift.
As a former Canadian 🇨🇦 military.. when I was young my dad ( also in the 🇨🇦Military) Royal Canadian Horse Artillery was a 109 gun commander ( M109 A4+ 155MM Self-Propelled Howitzer) I use to get rides and drive (assist) on family picnic day.. also watched the mechanics work on them and other Cold War equipment.. Cheers from HudsonBay Canada 🇨🇦 Great channel.. I liked & subscribed keep up the great job..
BRILLIANT.....!!!! Sitting on the edge of my seat here willing the thing to turn over.... Then a HUGE poop eating grin when it DID start Thank goodness nobody could see me as I watched 😄😃😀 Well done The Mighty Foden (worth its weight in gold I know from very old experience) but great job for your persistence too lads. Looking forward to Episode 6
Amazing job guys. Ive worked with cars for along time, could do most of the work to restore a car from the ground up, but the way old diesels are to get going again, the work you guys do to all of your fleet, having to make most of the parts from scratch, is just baffling sometimes. You guys definitely deserve alot more attention for the work you put into all of your fleet.
Wow how awesome to hear how excited you were it started, that's an achievement, you guys clearly know your stuff but to see when hard work pays off is amazing!
God knows why YT decided I needed to see this as I've never been interested in tanks. But bloody hell that motor sounds a bit good when it gets going and I might have to come back for more of that!
Who gives a flying what people think, you got it done, and they are sitting on the shiny keyboards tapping away doing f all! Well done great video as always and another up and runing
and if it weren't for the mighty Foden you'd have Jack rigged up in just his cowgirl booties and bonnet trying to push from behind (that came out wrong) or right depending on how you stand - great work getting the beasty going - needs a lot of Jacks excellent making pretty with the wet paint stuff (people have always asked what paint i use, i always reply, 'Wet Paint' it goes on better my new pal has a Foden and just collected his new toys, collected two CVRTs for total rebuild, going to need a lot of bits, like tracks and stuff, diesel gearboxes i was just having a read up on Wiki, what ever happened to the mighty Foden company, interesting history
I have a sneaking suspicion that Mr Hewes was slightly chuffed that the ARV actually started. 👍👍👏👏 You are only cowboys if Cody says you are .... (Speaking of which the Chieftain is where now? On the Atlantic?)
@@MrHewes The Scousers will have had it on house bricks by now mate ... 🤣 I used to load containers off of Seaforth. Many hours in my life I will never get back.
It doesn't take long to get addicted to you Joe! I grew up repairing agricultural equipment, then plant, I appreciate the jobs you're doing. I've retired now, but I cringe when I see both of you kneeling, and lifting. I'm guessing you're half my age, indestructible, but your body won't forget, it will get payback as you get older. Look after yourselves. Can you start to number your videos? I want to watch all of them, but in some sort of order, so I can watch a renovation of a machine from start to finish, then move onto another machine. - Just a thought! 😊 I appreciate your humour, there must be days when you need it! 🤪🙃👍

ffs was gonna message you about fixing me wheelbarrow.. there goes that then 🤣
🤣😂
I was once called out to fix a horse and cart…took me two days to diagnose the horse was dead. Customer never paid the invoice.

Got to love 27 litres of V12 courtesy of both Messrs Rolls and indeed Royce.
Or more likely Messrs Rover who built thousands of them after swapping jet engine production with RR. But I take your point!
Well done lads , time for a pint or three to celebrate. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 👍
My old boss Ted had a couple o tanks he played about with in his garden. Great to hear the V12 burst into life.
