Notice the fact Adam hardly and slowly comes back to Erik's world, but easily and quickly comes out from art gallery, like he probably did with Erik's life and love. Some people never believe love, they only uses us, not understand their own feelings and make us cry and suffer. I like the transition from the hot yellow light from the present (restaurant, new life, wife) to the bluish gray past (Erik, gay love) like a sad return, a trip to old photos. Nice actors, nice plot. A cut of our reality, sadly.

Sometimes it’s too late when you realize your soulmate has slipped through your fingers. We all make choices in life and sometimes we are wrong.

When I was 40, met a college freshman, 18..... got a divorce, lived my life....32 years later, wonderful life with our two kids..... I would NEVER cheat on this man...... he is the best soul mate out there. Love him more each day. Many blow that beautiful thing with a 3 hour lust for a stranger.... or someones husband..... He would kick me out in a second, if that happened.....

Sad for both men but especially for the artist -- the one left behind. Amazing to think that this movie was shot in one take. No edits!! That requires a great director, great cinematographer, and great actors.

This is very well done and affecting. I was restraining myself from crying at the end. With a wife and two children, he couldn't change course. Perhaps in a perfect world he could have included his former lover in his life. The English subtitles, as you probably know, are flawless and fit perfectly with what is happening and the inflection of their voices. I experienced the film as if they were speaking English. Thank you for sharing this on UA-cam.

What a powerful short film. Credit to everyone involved in its making. Love has no gender and cannot be controlled. This film captures the reality of this really well.

Beautiful! Exactly what a short film should be: a story is told from beginning to end. Good storyline, strong and sensitive acting, well-produced, and I love the one-shot structure. It does not come off as gimmicky. I had no problems turning on the English subtitles, though I noticed other comments about it; worked well for me.
If you ever expanded to a full feature, it could also work but as a stand-alone project. I’d give it an A+ rating.

A story that has multiple versions to it with the same ending and repeated an infinite amount of times. A love story of what was, will never be again, but will burn in our memories until the day we die. And perhaps even live on longer than that.

Strange opening scene .... the road to the restaurant is completely devoid of any other people!!!🙄However, it was very well directed & acted... the emotions were tightly portrayed & effectively brought to life. 💔💯

just so you know these guys are not bisexual. they are/were very much in love with each other. they each have a wife that is living with their sadness and kids living with that combined sadness. if they were bisexual they would be very happy with their wives and not feeling the loss and angst they obviously feel just from running into each other. a very telling commentary on the society we humans have created. a man with a woman creating kids is always, always joy and happiness. sadly it is not. we prefer to see two people destroying two other peoples lives (with possibly kids being involved as well) rather than just simply allowing two people, who love each other, to be together and those two people being happy.

    Một câu hỏi?
Tại sao Bạn lại tới đây ?
Tôi cố ý tới đây tìm Bạn....
Kỷ niệm và kí ức trước đây quá đẹp, cả 2 ta còn lưu giữ nó mãi kia mà.
2 ý này cùng một câu nổi nhớ nhung, tuy rằng bạn đã có vợ và 2 con...
    Nhưng....! Tôi rất nhớ bạn.❤❤❤❤❤

not to belabour the point but yes to belabour it, the opening scene is showing two people walking not close together. not holding hands. not with his arm over her shoulder but a large gap between them. people in love do not behave this way. for a moment when he left the restaurant to "get his wallet" i thought, oh ok. that is his sister.
