Michigan Has Real Beaches

- I go home to Michigan every year to celebrate the 4th of July with family and friends on Lake Huron. When I told one of my California friends that I stay on the beach, they looked at me seriously and said “You know that’s not a real beach, right?”
They clearly don't understand. Michigan has real beaches. I hope this video convinces you. Northern Michigan summers are the best. My family has a place in Oscoda Michigan.
Michigan has a tourism slogan called "Pure Michigan." It's used everywhere in their print and tv ads and I think it accurately describes the best parts of Michigan. The beaches, vacations up north, and the beauty of it all definitely yell Pure Michigan.

Michigan isn't on a lot of peoplejs radar as a summer vacation destination. It really should be! take a chance and come on up here to visit. Beautiful beaches with crystal clear water, and since the water is fresh water there's no need to shower after, you're cleaner when ya come out than when ya went in.

I spent a summer right after college graduation in California many years ago working in Michigan. I was astounded by the beautiful sandy beaches at Grand Haven and memorable sunsets. Michigan has gorgeous beaches with clear Great Lakes water. I would love to return someday for a summer visit and enjoy a Michigan beach! What memories of the Great Lakes and scenery.

Michigan is surrounded by mini oceans, ive been to all of the great lakes and in the summer time there are just as beautiful as any other place, including torch lake, its a mini carribian

I’m so excited for the summer and now covid hit, and I don’t know what will happen. Definitely Michigan has great beaches that often are overlooked because the tourist attraction in Michigan is not as high as Cali. Thank you for sharing the amazing experience you had.
