I really wish Mojang would have a better system for modders. Seeing how so many things don’t get added onto the MP for one reason or another is really heartbreaking. Needing a PC or Pocket Edition just to get addons for PlayStation and Switch is such a killer for people playing on those devices.

I love the More TNT one so much. Me and my sister were nuking random villages and just having a mod showcase. I really love the Add-ons but $41 is insane

Question for QnA Saturday: I'm a java player. I play Bedrock occasionally with my friends, but i've never had a long term world. I can't help but wonder sometimes, if long-term Bedrock players feel a little disappointed with Bedrock and how it's treated by Microsoft. The vanilla game almost feels like an afterthought, while all the company resources is spent on the Marketplace. To my java eye, they're actively turning Minecraft into a free-to-play mobile game, while also charging for the base game itself. What are your thoughts on this, Toycat? Have you grown more disappointed with Bedrock as time went on? (no shade to anyone, Minecraft is still Minecraft no matter the version)
yeah, i personally stopped playing it recently, because every time they update the game, it either glitches, or lags, and it takes months to fix. i can't play and have fun, if the game keeps freezing up every three minutes. it's really a shame, i love the game, and have fond memories, but its unplayable atm. and i can't afford java, and don't like playing on a computer anyway. maybe it will get better, but i'm done waiting for them to fix things.
The elemental one you have to put a water block below the sprinkler for it to work. Once you make all the armours you can mix them together to create one set of armour with all of the effects.
Elemental crops also lets you craft certain materials like wind and ground essense to make sand, wind crystals can become ghast tears, craftable ender pearls which works well with Sparks Portals, and you can even use water essense to craft sea lanterns

The elemental armor is dope, once you get all of the armor you can combine them all into a final set which puts all of the armor effects onto one set and it is awesome.
Speed 2, strength 4, jump boost, fire resistance, water breathing, slow falling, knockback resistance, prevents levitation from shulkers, makes you immune to ender dragon breath, teleports attacking enemies and conduit power, which gives you haste and night vision, and then you can fully enchant it as well
It actually makes me sick how oversaturated all of these are. The only one that isn't made to attract the average UA-cam Kids user is the animals one. I'd be more inclined to spending on add-ons (as sad as that is) if they were just more grounded and vanilla style add ones that just enhance the survival experience
the portal one is actually decent. the pets one kinda sucks tbh. you just end up with like 10 random animals spawning in your base at all times. Its just annoying. The portals are incredibly useful and take away a lot of tedium. I would argue that they actually encourage exploration more, since the cost of exploring isnt so high.
I find the Techna add on to be quite useful once you figure out the power sources. Like all of the blocks require power from the top and either water or lava from the side.

I've been hearing a lot about how ppl are upset about mods being dlc, but I honestly get it, it allows modders to make a legitimate living from their creations and usually results in better products. and it doesn't stop modders from creating free mods still so idk y ppl are making a fuss unless there is something I'm missing or don't know about the whole situation.
here i’ll fill you in. They aren’t making a living out of it. Regardless of how much they sell it for, mojang has been taking like a huge cut of their income for themselves i think
Pretty sure mojang takes a large cut from it but I could be wrong but compared to pc you can get a mod pack like crazy craft which adds heaps of mods for free whereas you need to pay like £2-5 for marketplace mods which aren't usually worth the price
I would just like for it to be known that since the posting of this video, missing recipies in the Techna addon have been added. I'd also like to let it be known the before the reciepies were added that you could still craft pipes and cables, they were just manual recipies that the casual player wouldnt know without looking up what in the world the recipes for them were
Okay I’m a Java player so I’m not used to bedrock I’m just wondering if I’m crazy: is there something wrong with the saturation??? Bro keeps eating steak and heals like half a heart per minute.
the thing i hate the most about this isnt that modders can make money, thats a good thing, the bad thing is that people just steal java mods, copy them 1:1 and then sell them
To be fair as someone else said, most of those guys are the ORIGINAL creators. Like the Decocraft add on, that is the official OG creator of Decocraft who actually came back last year and updated their mod! It’s pretty amazing they got to turn it into an add on. And I’m sure if anyone attempts to, they just can be reported to mojang and have it taken down likely due to copyright infringement. Since many mods aren’t open source and are protected.
These are official ports, though it is worth mentioning when eventually the time comes when a ripoff shows up Microsoft has historically not been too quick with taking them down
You have to attach the power source to the wire. Obviously solar powered stuff only works during the day wind turbine stuff works all the time. You probably attache the lava pipes to the lava pool.
I buy these because more than 12 years of Minecraft, I've gotten 20 (almost 21) updates to the game, free. I won't consider them all equal, some better than others. However I've enjoyed virtually all of that content for free. We're talking Mojang could've had every right to be charging for the updated content, could have easily been bled into a "Minecraft 2" and instead they are taking the route of "We're adding stuff constantly, because we find it fun!" Meanwhile, the community has acted so incredibly entitled. As if the Mob votes have robbed you of your $30 you spent a few years ago. We act as though every time they pop out an update it should be 1.16 level, but what right do we actually have to argue that? The exception I'll understand is when they change things that people have always had (Such as the future attempt to rework villagers) But when they do so, it is almost always a balance that they game definitely needed. If spending extra on content for Minecraft really hurts your pride, then by all means Java is still worked on for a reason. But I really can't look at these fun CREATOR mods (it indeed funds Mojang and the community alike) as such a sin, for a game that I've always loved from the start.
im gonna be very disappointed if they dont add a gun addon, i really need to teach skeletons a lesson, i do wish i could play java but unfortunately for me i dont have a pc available :(
I have a series s and purchased the one furniture pack and I can’t even load it in any world and i definitely couldn’t add any add ons to my main realm world so yeah was really excited for this sucks I can’t even use them
Guys it costs 41 to get ALL of these, and they arent bundled. You can just mix and match what you want vs what you dont based on reviews. Regardless, if you are on a platform like mobile or pc you can install free addons that have existed for years from mod host sites for years, this is just for console users and to give back to mod devs.
Yeah, but tbh a lot of these mods aren't very worth the price, imo except maybe naturalist and portals one (though even then the naturalist price ask is way too steep) Plus ngl some of these mods are just way too out of place, which don't get me wrong. It happens on java, too, but there are at least mods that look like they could be proper Minecraft things on it, lol
I love the fact that the mutant chicken is essentially a watered down dodorex from Ark Edit: I wish most of if not all of the dragons would attack you, just me
I just want to say as someone that has played both java and bedrock, who cares. and you do realize people to pay for those free java mods. through patreon. Cause making a really good mod takes a lot of work. So just because bedrock won't let there be moochers is fine. Also this whole video is a really bad way to not only Test mods but also to judge the whole marketplace. I love the elemental crops they are fun and the armor is nice.
I don't like that it disables acheivements, Bethesda doesn't do this with official creation club content because it would be dumb to do so, so why does it disable it here?
The fact that so many people STILL don't realize that mcpedl exists... For those of you who don't know - mcpedl is a site with _free_ bedrock mods (some of them better than their java similliar ones). And not like it's new either💀
Try asking the creator of the dragon addon what shaders they used when making the addon. Perhaps the issue with seeing while flying can be resolved. If asking is a dead end, try experimenting with shaders.
god iim so glad i watched this before i got to tempted to get them myself, they just all feel like the terrible offbrand that tries to be the real thing, addons can be neat but they dont even come close to what mods can do
you know its funny the first mod you mentioned is naturalist, a mod that I installed for free on pc at one point the later removed it from my server because it felt like it barely added anything and now seeing you have to pay for it on bedrock edition is baffling.
I think the purpose of the multicoloured portals is maybe so different people can have different colours? Like maybe I don’t want to have the same portals as my friend, so I only use green portals and he only uses blue.
I mean I can understand frustration between having the opportunity to get these addons or mods for free through java or paying on Bedrock. But I can also understand why they're paid for, and not all of them are paid for, quite a few of them are free I'd argue the ones you pay for are of a reasonably fair market price and are even cheaper then actual game DLC's. I mean again I understand the frustration, however I don't really think it's that much of an issue, it's just good to see they're on Bedrock, also if you're on PC Bedrock you can just install them without paying for them
Minecraft has not charged $41 for mods, each mod is a few dollars and the studios releasing them deserve to be paid for the work Microsoft can't be bothered with.
I love they finely adding mods to bedrock I been wanting them for years but I played on console so I could never get them I’m glad deco craft is one of them that was the main one I been wanting for years Ps you should do reserch on deco craft it’s actually a amazing mod the bedrock add on one is just a less better one but still it great to have on bedrock but don’t let this make you think that how to real one is
addons like these are actually just a combination of resource and behavior packs already, so they interact with other resource packs exactly how resource packs interact with each other. the pack loaded highest in the resource packs menu overrides any resources shared by the lower packs. idk if the marketplace allows packs to have explicit compatibility like that though.
I really wish Mojang would have a better system for modders. Seeing how so many things don’t get added onto the MP for one reason or another is really heartbreaking.

So, you bought a collection of free Minecraft mods from 2013, for 41 dollars?
Nice 👍
And made more than 41$ on views
@@citricmantis_543 Yep
@@citricmantis_543probably more of a loss leader scenario
Well bedrock is limited
tbh i would rather play and get a free mod like crazy craft or luckly block for free than go to minecraft market place for just add ons
The hitch-hiker pack is op you can put the stick in your off hand and just have constant jump boost and speed boost
it’s a bit buggy, some days the stick does 7 damage and then it switches to 4 lol 😭
I find the Techna add on to be quite useful once you figure out the power sources. Like all of the blocks require power from the top and either water or lava from the side.
The DragonFire mod could’ve been better if the camera could zoom out more.
Hi toycat. I made a new Ultra Flat world of yours and put on hikers add on cuz the stick and sleeping bag helps allot. And naturalist and pets and furniture. I just started it yesterday but omg it's soooo amazing. Thank you
elemental crops: mystical agricolture...
spark portals: waystones...
mutants: this one is pretty good :D (but not the best mecanics/animation)
naturalist: alex's mobs
dragon fire: ice and fire...
Elemental Crops: Budget Mystical Agriculture
Spark Portals: Budget Waystones
Mutants!: Budget Mutant Creatures
Techna: Budget Mekanism
Naturalist: Budget Better Animals Plus
Computers: Budget VM Computers
Dragonfire: Budget Ice and Fire
Decocraft: Budget Java Decocraft
They need to make it were you can still have achievements
Nah I think the reason they made it disable is just so you can't just easily get them using mods
41 dollars worth of add ons vs one explosive add on 🤔
I gotta share this one! Nice!
small fact about the portals ADD-ON ks that if you complete de portal with the same obsidian color (all 14 blocks) when activating it, they will change the portal look depending on the color
I never thought i would ever here toycat talk about peeing in the sink
Bedrock doesn't have Java's faster regeneration that came with 1.9. It's one of the Java features that desperately needs to be added.
@@AGkittie Thanks for the answer, that’s wild
@@poppyseed799 You're welcome.
The gravestones and portals are phenomenal especially for someone like me who’s never linked a nether portal
Ok, one thing that really needs to be made is a NEI/REI/JEI port.
I was so excited when I heard about add-ons until I found out they're just a capitalist downgrade from free mods you can get on java
Dragon fire is made by little club members tiny turtles and little lizard
the thing i hate the most about this isnt that modders can make money, thats a good thing, the bad thing is that people just steal java mods, copy them 1:1 and then sell them
Most of these creators are the original people who made the Java mods like naturalism
These are official ports, though it is worth mentioning when eventually the time comes when a ripoff shows up Microsoft has historically not been too quick with taking them down
@@IDKisReal2401 im not saying these all are, bug the current marketplace is full with either stolen content or content they dont have permission for
It’s either that or some of the ideas are just very poor and not worth it
naturalist has a billion more animals on bedrock than on java
it kinda hurts that you didn't complete any of the portals (aka the corners) it looks nicer visually if you complete them
notice how the average minecraft modpack (around 100+ mods) would end up costing around 1k $ on bedrock 💀💀
Underrated comment.
Honestly I think it is a nice thing to have them on the marketplace as now the mod makers can make money from them.
4:53 ive been playing with this add on for about a week. And the sprinkler goes above the water in the ground. Usually use the side of the plant
I do hope they add a good zombie mod, as I would love to set up a zombie smp for me and my friends ( on console)
We're talking Mojang could've had every right to be charging for the updated content, could have easily been bled into a "Minecraft 2" and instead they are taking the route of "We're adding stuff constantly, because we find it fun!"
Meanwhile, the community has acted so incredibly entitled.
'OK Computer' amazing 10/10
im gonna be very disappointed if they dont add a gun addon, i really need to teach skeletons a lesson, i do wish i could play java but unfortunately for me i dont have a pc available :(
did he know Farmers Delight even? i felt sad because he paid a lot for not a good quality mod
Yeah its on mcpedl/modbay and it's free😢
@GijeonTheDum pretty sure there's are just mods from the marketplace so i don't think he could install third party sites mods
@@SYXX-II u can bruh
I have a series s and purchased the one furniture pack and I can’t even load it in any world and i definitely couldn’t add any add ons to my main realm world so yeah was really excited for this sucks I can’t even use them
Guys it costs 41 to get ALL of these, and they arent bundled. You can just mix and match what you want vs what you dont based on reviews. Regardless, if you are on a platform like mobile or pc you can install free addons that have existed for years from mod host sites for years, this is just for console users and to give back to mod devs.
Yeah, but tbh a lot of these mods aren't very worth the price, imo except maybe naturalist and portals one (though even then the naturalist price ask is way too steep)
Plus ngl some of these mods are just way too out of place, which don't get me wrong. It happens on java, too, but there are at least mods that look like they could be proper Minecraft things on it, lol
I love the fact that the mutant chicken is essentially a watered down dodorex from Ark
Edit: I wish most of if not all of the dragons would attack you, just me
The sprinklers need to be placed over a water source
For sparks portals you get a cool design for the portals if you fill in the corners
I'm assuming just to make getting achievement not super easy with mods
The fact that so many people STILL don't realize that mcpedl exists...
For those of you who don't know - mcpedl is a site with _free_ bedrock mods (some of them better than their java similliar ones). And not like it's new either💀
The elements pack is worth it for the sprinkler alone. My fountains are extra awesome because of it
Try asking the creator of the dragon addon what shaders they used when making the addon. Perhaps the issue with seeing while flying can be resolved. If asking is a dead end, try experimenting with shaders.
The mutants mod seems like something to add after beating the Endet Dragon, like Hardmode for Terraria.
Next month im getting a gaming PC so im super excited to try out real mods
The Naturalist add-on is the coolest so far.
god iim so glad i watched this before i got to tempted to get them myself, they just all feel like the terrible offbrand that tries to be the real thing, addons can be neat but they dont even come close to what mods can do
Are we just going to ignore MCPEDL
*:/*
Exactly
Uhm yes it’s a 3rd party website that has addons and the quality isn’t all that
@@hehasnolips1371 It's dog*###
There are a few decent add-ons there, but you have to look very hard to find them
@@GaulSoodman884 Or watch a UA-camer that’s channel is based on recommending addons
you know its funny the first mod you mentioned is naturalist, a mod that I installed for free on pc at one point the later removed it from my server because it felt like it barely added anything and now seeing you have to pay for it on bedrock edition is baffling.
I think the purpose of the multicoloured portals is maybe so different people can have different colours? Like maybe I don’t want to have the same portals as my friend, so I only use green portals and he only uses blue.
Wait is earth armor literally hust netherite?
Maybe I'm old school, but I've never even considered to buy mods for minecraft. The standard game itself has more than enough already.
I love they finely adding mods to bedrock I been wanting them for years but I played on console so I could never get them I’m glad deco craft is one of them that was the main one I been wanting for years
Ps you should do reserch on deco craft it’s actually a amazing mod the bedrock add on one is just a less better one but still it great to have on bedrock but don’t let this make you think that how to real one is
I love the vids! How do add ons work with texture packs like kingdoms?
addons like these are actually just a combination of resource and behavior packs already, so they interact with other resource packs exactly how resource packs interact with each other. the pack loaded highest in the resource packs menu overrides any resources shared by the lower packs.
idk if the marketplace allows packs to have explicit compatibility like that though.
