    I'm a 79 year old handyman. I use the premium version of Ryobi tools UNLESS another brand offers a better feature, eg. the blade release on a Bosch grinder. I have lots of Ryobi 18V and 40V chargers. In hand tools, I am uograding to brands like Knipsis and Wera based on your recommdndations. Thanks! And, as You say, it's all for his glory. Amen. God designed the math behind electricity. God Bless.

    We primarily do low-voltage/cctv/security systems at work, and we occasionally do some new construction residences that are just out in the middle of nowhere. That said, one thing that I’ve been extremely glad to keep on the service van, and has come in handy more than once or twice, is a little portable toilet bucket with some biodegradable bags and gel tabs lol. Enough that I keep one in the shell I have on my personal truck, just in case.

      I Like the OX as well. It's nice to be able to walk into Lowes and get one instead of having to order one on line. I like the square shape so it doesn't role and the sharpener location is great as it allows you to sharpen without having to pull the holster out of your pocket. I did have my cap falling of which was a bit annoying so I finally took a small button head screw and screwed it into the tube instead of putting the cap on and it works great as a push button and looks kinda cool being a black screw head which just looks construction tough.

    The quick can is great for yard work if you are working by yourself.
    The lightweight saw horses are easy to cary, but are easy to knock over. The heavy saw horses are harder to knock over but, they are heavy.
    The caulk condoms are great, but if you have a small hole in the tip the caulk can get thick at the hole if you don't use it for awhile (LockTite Power Grab) . Stick a nail in the hole before using the cover. It will give an opening for the caulk to pass.

    I actually got a pair of the Nolhster Drill clips for Christmas due to your recommendation. I dropped my impact off a 12ft ladder because the stock belt clip was loose. It bring a Milwaukee impact worked just fine afterwards. Nevertheless, I like how they don't let go unless you want them to. I just wanted to mention I got them purely because you recommended them, and like others, I value your opinion.

    I will never understand the truck/pickup thing. What‘s the point? In Germany we use big vans (Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, MAN tgs…) The cargospace is deeper so you easy can go in. Is it a license or law thing in the US?
    Greetings from Germany 🫡

    • @MORGANSMaintenance
      @MORGANSMaintenance  8 місяців тому

      My next vehicle I may go with a Van. I just started working 100% out of my truck in the last year. I used to work at one facility and didn’t keep that much in my truck because we had everything on site. I’ve just been making my truck work so I didn’t have to go in any debt until I saw which direction my business went. (What type of jobs am I getting to know what vehicle would suit me best)
      I generally always have driven a truck to be able to just throw sheet goods, drywall, and lumber in the back. With a truck I also still have seating for my family while we threw Kayaks in the back to go on trips. My kids are older now and out of the house, my truck is 100% a work vehicle now, and I’m trying to get more into “service” over “construction”.. so a van might be better.
      A think a truck is more of a multipurpose family/work vehicle. At least that’s why I have one, I’m not sure about anyone else.

    I need to try out those vessel screwdrivers people really seem to like them. What I'd really like is for vessel to make some 1/4" socket spinner handles with that ball style, or even better a ratcheting version as well. Not sure if a 1/4" hex to square adapter would work in any of their drivers. Those screwdriver style socket drivers are a lifesaver when starting nuts when I'm way up high on metal grating especially when I'm wearing winter gloves and I drop more nuts than I start.
