It seems to me the high beams are quite narrow. Is that a video illusion or are they really that narrow? Are they sufficient on bendy roads since there isn't any cornering lights either?
This car, in spite of missing some lumination in places it is still amazing to me. Do you find you are able to work around the missing lights after owning this car for a while?

I own both ionic 5 and 6. The ionic 6 is a better driver in every way. Same platform but the 5 drives like an under sprung land yacht. The ionic 6 is taught and handles much much better than the 5. And in the same trim level the 6 gets a lot better range over the 5.
One of the coolest looking EV on the market 😎 American version taillights are much cooler than European ones (where I'm from) in here rear turn signals are amber and only on lower portion of taillights. Why would you like the American taillights better than the Euro ones? Red turn signals, especially ones that are just flashing brake lights, are monumentally stupid and need to cease to exist
I honestly could do without the mustache light. I know it's unique but I feel like it's a little too busy around there. I rather trade that for some fog lights instead as I feel like this needs some. Looks like there isn't even a place to add fog lights on either. Also the running lights should've amber instead of white. That would've been so nice.
Great review, but I have to disagree about high beams. Those are weak and narrow compared e.g. Model 3's (passive) Matrix lights. Sometimes it's even hard to see if the high beams are switched on.
Just seeing 4:10 - the combo red tail lights - turned me off the Ioniq 5 completely - it was a close match between that and the Kia EV6, which uses amber in the rear. The Ioniq 5 has amber signals in EU version. There's no reason we couldn't have had that here too.
sorry but this is not Ioniq 5 which can a normal people can buy! its the full full most expensive version, so this video is not worth anything. Test the normal Ioniq 5 the lowest spec. version. That has no such light, just awful hardly can show the road more than 10-20 m!!

I have an EV6 GTL 2 until my I5 arrives. The ambient interior lighting is quite a bit nicer in the EV6.

A Dealership should be able to order one. It may be several months before you get it though. It will most likely be a 2023 model.

Matrix headlights are not legal in USA.

The high beam is really bad. Spread is bad and power is bad. Luckily there are some powerful but small ledbars available :)
