Cheapest Nissan Silvia S15 200sx Pt1. Problems to solve. Airbag light, screeching, wiring + breather

Our (new to us) project car is somewhat iconic throughout the world as they weren't released in many countries but are in good demand.
This neglected Nissan SIlvia S15 is probably the cheapest in Australia (in 2024) and it shows 🥲 The body is a little busted, the bonnet is definitely not in good shape, things are hanging off it and the interior needs a spruce up.
First things first are some simple and common issues that S15 owners are likely to come across. The 200sx (as we call them in Australia) starts up fine, first go, which is awesome, but it has a loud sqeakling sound for a few seconds which then goes away. Not ideal!. The airbag light is also constantly flashing - super annoying! A quick Google helps bring up some suggestions but it's hard to find anything useful as a video - so here we are.

Lucky these are all relatively simple fixes with parts easily available. Will be posting up more videos as there's still A LOT to fix up on this guy. We're super excited to be working on this. It'll be great once done but for now - needs a lot of restomod love!
