doing a similar set up on my single jingle. thank you for the easy and concise information on what needs to come undone. are you deleting the whole system as well, or are you going to leave stuff like the charcoal canister?
I wouldn't recommend deleting those butterfly valves on a NA engine or build. They are there to increase air velocity at low RPM for more bottom end torque. Just a very early adaptation of BMW's DISA valve that actually has short and long length runners. Removing them will cause the car to run rich without a retune and lower tq at low RPM. I'd just suggest removing them if you go Turbo and standalone ECU. Leaving them in and working below 2k RPM you will have 20% more torque removing them makes you loose 20% of torque
These videos have been super helpful in getting my ka running nicely, appreciate the in depth videos
Aye I appreciate you for the support💪 glad I could help

Deleting the whole system. Charcoal canister has already been removed 👍

I've heard a few people make this argument on the forums, but honestly there would be no point in doing it if its not gonna make the car more fun lol
what did you do for the hole where the butterfly rod came out of?
Jb weld. Made it as perfect and clean as possible, came out great
Lmao my intakes in my bathtub rn
Quick question...why are we doin this exactly?
What is the benefit of deleting all those components? Specifically the EGR? Thanks!
Your car will make more power and be less complex. So servicing it will be a lot easier in the future
How did you reroute all the deleted stuff like exposed stuff
