Thank you for this video. The v200 pro is a tool i need. The issue i had was radiator fluid was coming out the top of the extra reservoir (temp was fine and didn't overheat). I had a leak in my thermostat so i swapped that out and got a new seal (not leaking anymore). Now the fan is not working. While burping the car for 45min the fan never turned on. It was okay before. I swapped out some fuse but not the relays yet. Thats what im going to do next and hopefully thats all. If not then I'll be swapping out the fan. That v200 would of saved me alot of time hahah (08 honda civic) Much appreciated for all your videos
Hey maybe you can help me, 06 Honda civic the problem I’m having is when I turn the mode switch for blower on the dash on any of the settings then the engine fans come , if off no engine fans don’t come on
@@dannysdiygarage. No the ac isn’t on. I’m in Alaska , when it’s 10 F the fan turns on with any of the fan selector speeds on with heat or if on cold blown air. Doesn’t matter if air is blown to dash vents or the floor vs the windshield. I can’t find anything on the net for this issue. Thank you for replying
i have a 2009 honda civic both fans are not turning on i try suppying to power to fans and they work te relays have power but the connect to fan doesnt have power what else should i check?
Hey Danny, I have an 09 civic and the mechanic at work was messing around trying to get the ac to work pretty sure fried the ECU, he was giving power from the battery to the compressor and now car won't start. Do you know if it's plug and play and use the same keys or is it a mess of a fix? Thank you!
@@Krafts1 I would need to study the schematic to give you a better answer, but it probably requires something to power on 1st, then it will add power to another terminal, this is just a guess, I didn’t get that far into it, when I get some free time I’ll check on it and give a update here
@@dannysdiygarage Okay..Thanks, one more thing.. The radiator fan and the Condenser fan , the A/C control switch controls both? I mean do they both run when the A/C is switched on.

Thanks Danny for the videos, they've helped me tremendously! Keep it up!
I appreciate that
Hi good day! Does the condenser fan always be on continuously or intermittently?
Excuse me want to ask sir,2 fan work both but ac fan never high speed. & both fan always cut off both. Is that normally?
What if you took the relay and test it with the test light and only one has power not both what you gonna do then?

Normal operation when ac or defrost is on

I have a couple of videos on fans that should answer this question
On one of the relays it only has power on one not two

Oh no, crank no start or won’t crank,
Ecu’s usually need programming, try a junkyard same year and model
@@dannysdiygarage cranks no start, almost as if a little spray of ether will get it goin
Why does the relay controlling the radiator fan has just one power? thanks.

@@Krafts1yes both fans should come on with the ac switch and blower fan on
Is there any other way to provide power to the fan without using that tool?
Yes use two jumper wires, battery positive ( power) + and negative- ground,
what is condenser fan? some cars have only one fan, then what???
Same process
