03. 산조춤
즉흥형식의 산조 연주에 맞춰 한국 춤의 대표적 특성인 한과 신명을 승화시켜 인위적 기교나 정형화된 움직임보다는 한층 조화롭고 자유로운 춤사위가 특징이다. 거센 인생의 풍파를 묵묵히 겪어내는 인간 내면의 감정을 나지막한 산조 선율에 맞춰 감성적 춤사위로 풀어낸다. 흩어진 가락을 모은다는 뜻인 산조 음악에 여인의 희로애락을 담아 가장 한국적인 여인의 심성을 표현하는 작품이다.
움직임의 범위를 확대하면서도 절제하는 매혹적인 춤사위는 우리춤의 정수라 부를 만하다.

Accompanied by improvised instrumental music called sanjo, the sansjo dance shows Korea's representative cultural emotions, known for the lament and enthusiasm. The dance has liberal movements rather than direct gestures. Through the movement of the body, the dance solves sadness and sorrow that comes from lifle’s hardship and trouble with the use of folk music melodies. This sanjo dance implies that the ladies heartfelt feelings and emotions are expressed through the motion and sound with the sanjo, which means scattered melodies. The motions and movements that are expanding, while at the same time refined, show the absolute beauty of the Korean well.
